Any useful hints for starts?
Writing process?
Research?
Etc.
It depends what kind of RP you are doing, if it's based on history, then knowledge and research are vital. If not, it doesn't matter. I would join some RP's before actually starting one. I made the mistake of starting an RP before ever playing one. Trust me, get some experience under your belt.

Go read a few RP's. Successful ones.

Base your RP on something you know well. Like Star Wars. Or Pokemon. Or whatever else you can think of. But make sure that others will play it.

Have a story ready. Make twists and turns, and maybe multiple endings.

And make sure you've read those forum guidelines.

Those are just a few things to help.

Having planned out a story is key to a good RP, otherwise they just go nowhere and fail.

And... That's it?
Pretty much.

A set number of players, a plot, a varie of different characters & a mix of different RPers gives you a good RP. :)
