Ever since I downloaded the latest Adobe Flash Player update, I've been having fairly regular visual issues with numerous online videos, primarily Youtube and Blip. Usually, if I can get a Youtube video to 480, I'm fairly good (going lower or higher will make it screwy) and with Blip, I'm at the mercy of a by-video basis (some affected, some not).
The error in question, an apparent division between a video's visuals and colour (the latter being shifted down with a green bar at the top), doesn't seem to be fixable by Adobe themselves, as they claim that they can't replicate the problem. However, they have suggested that, due to the whole "green bar" thing, it's probably because my drivers are out of date.
That said, I don't know how to update my drivers. My aunt knew how to back when we used XP, but she has trouble making sense of Windows 7. Also, when my brother's friend tried to update the drivers manually, he didn't seem to find my particular model on the NVidia database and the "best guess" downloads simply failed to install.
Can anyone help me find a way to automatically update my drivers, or is it time that this middle-of-the-line integrated card be deactivated in favour of an up-to-date replacement?
