It doesn't. But vegetarianism is still a very healthy choice as far as diets go, as there's a whole list of diseases you won't be affected by if you stop eating meat, and it's a good diet if you're trying to lose weight or you're worried about your cholesterol.

Vegans don't love the planet. They keep eating all the damn plants.

Please don't flame me, I'm very sensitive.
Yeah, you know I think they hate animals too. So much so that they are eating all of the animal food so they starve to death, I have heard that is long and painful... Thats a naughty Vegan, naughty!

Global warming is a myth, it's a conspiracy propogated by the UN. Don't just listen to the government's bullshit, arm yourselves with knowledge! Hman beings account for less than 1% of climate change.

Deforestation for cattle-growing space. Not good. Also, rearing an animal takes a lot of food that we could just eat ourselves.
Unless everyone on earth stopped eating meat (or at least the vast majority) all they are doing by not eating meat is making the problem worse because they aren't eating the share that was produced for them.

Except that unless you take a ton of animal-derived supplements you get sick and die from a lack of things like iron (plants have next to none.)

I have never met a truly healthy vegetarian, thin does not mean health. One of the first things that happens to the human body when it gets extremely ill is that it becomes thin.

it doesn't cause global warming but factory farming contributes to it, the commercials are just asking people to help their cause. If you don't want to become a vegetarian you don't have to end of story. (the hole global warming will trigger an ice age theory was just a scientific hypothesis that is not widely excepted)
