pretty simple, how does your username reflect you or your personality?

(this is an edit for an unintended double post, so forgive for the unoriginality XP)

Edited from The Double Post warning & link.

I originally got this name when I was considered quite oblivious to things, by my parents and by the Team Fortress 2 players who gave me the idea (I then changed my Steam name). Now though, I'm more aware of things so it doesn't reflect me too well. I'm still keeping it though.

Nope, I in fact hate the colour orange.

And I don't really like headbands. But I am a guy so at least something's right.

Not very accurately... It's just the combination of 2 of my online personas.

I like MacGyver, and think he is uber awesome. But I kinda wanted to add something to it. Enter "cas". No idea why I chose that, but it seemed to fit.

Look up Macgyvercas on Google. Yeah, first three pages...all me.

It doesen't. I just used it to remain consistent with my Live gamertag, which has since changed.

I did no such thing. Oh... You mean the blues musician. Will someone tell him to stop taking my name?

OT: Way back in the day I used to play drumset in a band, we were called Balance of Darkness, then Crystal Phace, and then something else... I can't remember. The point I'm working my way to is that our bassist always called me Captain Rob, I kind of liked it, and I've stuck with it ever since, generally abreviating it to Cpt. Rob. But, Cpt. Rob was taken when I set up my xbox live profile, so I changed it to Kpt. Rob, and when I made my Escapist profile I decided to stick with it. I don't know that it reflects my personality, so much as it's just a nick name I've carried with me.

It's supposed to be a pun representing the fact that I'm a relatively nice, moral person, with alot of negative aspects, that I actually enjoy having.

As noted by your second use of the letter u in humor, heh.

But in consideration of why I have the username I do it's simple. Gabriel is my first name and Xollan is the username I use in most forums/websites. I created it by taking my middle name and rearranging the letters to form an acronym. The inspiration behind it was having friends that liked to come up with codenames and being a Kingdom Hearts fan boy?Organization XIII for the win.

Then you may be wondering why would I put my real name and username together to form yet another username.

The answer to that is simple, cause its awesome. Plus it makes it easier for people I know to identify me by both names.

Our very own khaimera actually analysed my name in a pubclub thread. I'll copy paste what he said.

I'd love to be analyzed. It sounds fun!
Oh it is fun my friend. Here we go. I started by googling Irridium becuase I thought it was an element, but needed wikipedia to confirm it, don't judge me. Wikipedia, in its infinite wisdom had already analyzed your personality. So here is what it said.

Iridium is the chemical element with atomic number 77, and is represented by the symbol Ir. A very hard, brittle, silvery-white transition metal of the platinum family, iridium is the second densest element (after osmium) and is the most corrosion-resistant metal, even at temperatures as high as 2000 °C. Although only certain molten salts and halogens are corrosive to solid iridium, finely divided iridium dust is much more reactive and can even be flammable. The most important iridium compounds in use are the salts and acids it forms with chlorine, though iridium also forms a number of organometallic compounds used in catalysis and in research. 191Ir and 193Ir are the only two naturally occurring isotopes of iridium as well as the only stable isotopes; the latter is the more abundant of the two.

So, as we see here, its atomic number is 77, your age no doubt. Then I check your profile and learn that you enjoy deceiving people. You couldn't have been born in 1991.

Its symbol is Ir which is short for iridescent. You like to shine and glow when you are at your best.

You are also hard, dense, and resist corrosion. So you tend to be hard headed, dense to the idea of others who are more ignorant than you, and you stay strong with your own beliefs. You may also be highly reactive to, and thus avoid, certain chemicals. These chemicals include all types of illegal drugs, but are encoded in big words like organometallic and stable.

And lastly, I think your avatar shows your love for dance and MC Hammer.
It actually is pretty accurate. More or less :p

Well, my name was me sort of bored and trying to think up an original name that wasn't pretentious. I gave up...as you can see.
It sort of represents me in a way that I'm sort of pretentious I guess.
