Have you ever seen a show, movie, or game that had content in it that was so cynical and vulgar that you wouldn't even want Satan to see it for fear of crying? Has it ever happened in a show that you never would have expected it?

Myself, I remember one time I was watching Robot Chicken. I liked that show, its humor was usually witty. And then I saw this one new episode. This kid and his mom were just sitting around playing a board game and all of a sudden these thugs burst into the house and they crucify the mother. Then the older brother runs into the room and they shoot him like a million times. All the while, the little boy is crying. They kill him after.

Sounds funny to me. I'm terrible.

It all depends on how it is portrayed. I'm pretty ok with most stuff.
But I don't LIKE horrors.

There are a lot of movies and games i've seen with gruesome over the tope content but it is consistent throughout the movie. In Oblivion you get out of the beginner dungeon were you saw a few skeltons then you go in the first gate to Oblivion and its like Holy fuck thats some silent hill shit right there. Vampire layers necromancer layers all that fun stuff. Its just so contradictory to the bright stone or grass around you out in the world.

Yeah, I'm somewhat sensitive to violence. If something is too over the top, I may shut whatever medium I'm using to view it off.

I stopped watching the series Rome because it felt like there was too much sex for it to be taken seriously by me, but there was too much dialogue for it to be classed as porn!

It's not classy, it's just trying to grab ratings...

As someone who is rarely affected by horror/gore I found the original Saw to be quite creepy. Still haven't watched the rest.

And the problem with the line is, you don't know its there until you cross it.

About 15 miles. After that its not a reasonable long walk, its just fucking cumbersome.
Someone had to do it.

I'm not sensitive to controversial media, but I still realize there's something wrong with games like Postal and shows like Happy Tree Friends. Am I the only one who doesn't think violence is funny?

I think many of the new "horror" films go to far. Glorifying torture, like the SAW movies and whatnot - that is just sick. If any film has gratuitous violence and torture/rape scenes, I'm walking out of the theatre. And anyone who genuinely enjoys such films has got to be a little bit..... funny in the head.

Torture and Rape are not good things. Sure, some films have them to make a point about the horrors of war or mankind, to highlight a historical tragedy, or to develop a character, and that's alright. But there are so many horror films which is just about innocent, normal people suffering horribly at the hands of some creep who not only shows no remorse, but often GETS AWAY WITH IT.

As someone who is a stickler for law and order, I hate that. I REALLY hate that. Evil should never be celebrated, slavery and torture and death should never really be glorified. Now you might make the claim that "Well Video games have that stuff in them". But I don't PLAY video games that glorify needless violence. I don't play GTA. All the first person shooters I play are based on wars or willing combatants. In Fallout 3, I can't even bring myself to do evil, every character I play has maxed out good Karma. I know it's just a video game, and if you blow up Megaton, no there is nothing wrong with you - my brother blows up megaton during every play-through, and there's nothing wrong with him.

But when it comes to some films these days..... films like the SAW films or "wolf creek" (a particularly nasty Australian horror film), well, they just seem like fake snuff films and it's just gross. At least when you blow up Megaton you're doing it for profit within the game. But some of the films I have mentioned..... it's just sick. Seeing in graphic detail people screaming and bleeding and pleading for their lives. That's wrong. No two ways about it, it's just bloody wrong.

Too far is when you realize you`ve walked off the cliff you were standing in on in the moment before that cartoon-esque fall when you realize where you are and that you`re F.U.K.D`d

Senseless violence that is just there for the sake of being violent (I'm looking at you, Saw) I mean, if it has no point, why have it at all? Same goes for sex, but thats not because it's disgusting, just that it's low class and, well, pointless.
