I think the title is self-explanitory. Basically the way they have impacted me is by really changing my taste in music, thanks Guitar Hero/Rock Band. Also I have become much more of a nerd.

I've learned that the ultimate soloution is to shoot everyone.

Other than that, I've learnt that if you have to choose, choose wisely. See Mass Effect in Saren's facility. (Forgot the planet's name)

Praise the Invisible Pink Unicorn for video games! Without them, not only would I still be an idiot- I'd be an idiot who likes pink, and shopping, and girly things, and... JONAS BROTHERS?!

No no no no, I am much better off being a dork than an impressionable teenager. :)

My brother threw the case of Prototype at my head, that was quite an impact.

(Yes, a lame joke.)

Possibly Age of Empires II, who instilled my love for RTS, and Beyond Good and Evil in combination with Half Life 2, who brought me love for the narrative games.

That's it. I believe everyone who's played the game knows the (at first) difficult choice you have to make.

I liked, Assassin's Creed for this reason. Yes the cutscenes were wordy and unskippable, but I feel that's justified due to the amount of points they had to go over. Besides it still isn't as bad (in terms of lengthyness anyways) as MGS4.

Games have affected my life by taking it over.

I spend probably 8 hours on the computer/X-Box, and 4 hours playing my DS in bed before I go to sleep.

They has learnt me to english.

The most obvious faculty they have 'impacted' on, is my English grammar.

Also, my eyes are darn well trained to spot details, compared to if I weren't a gamer. New studies have shown that you increase your ability to differentiate contrast, by playing games. Of course, this also applies to movies, but you are more concentrated when you play games.
