Remember that German blitzkrieg thing? Yeah we destroyed 25% of the Luftwaffe and lasted as long as France in battle. Unlike France we didn't have foreign armies helping us and we also got jumped by Germany and the USSR. Quit making it sound like we threw our arms up.

The Historical examples you're giving are from the area we know today as Poland, I don't believe that it was called Poland back then, or was even a country... I thought Modern-day Poland was created after WWI to BE a "buffer zone" between Soviet Russia and the rest of Europe... AP EUROPEAN HISTORY LIED TO ME!!!
