In movies sometimes the ending is shit house or these a much easier way to do things like in this video.

Why didnt he just force lift Luke back up to where he was in the flim?

or in Warcraft 3 frozen throne where Arthas and illdan fight i guess Illidan didnt have any more troops to gank Arthas or vice versa.

oh wait thought of another one

Inception stupid cliffhanger Did it stop spinning or continue spinning?

How do you think some movies/games/anime should have ended?

NOTE : YES GOT THE UTUBE LINK TO WORK WOOO.......dont get to excited

Argh, yes.

Also Monty Python and the Holy Grail had about the worst ending ever. Anything would be preferable.

Really? I thought it was funny. Not as funny as the rest of the film, but still funny.

Why do people not "get" the ending to Empire?

Darth Vader was seducing Luke to come to the Dark Side. Luke resisted the Dark Side. Luke jumped to his death. Vader saving Luke would have been fucking pointless, as he'd just have to kill him once he was saved.

And is there any real proof that Vader is actually that strong in the Force? The height of Yoda's powers that we were shown was him very slowly lifting a spaceship out of the water. And he's the greatest Jedi master ever. Vader just uses force choke a lot. He probably isn't adept enough in the force to stop Luke from falling. He certainly didn't expect him to jump, so he couldn't have been prepared for it.

A.I. should've ended about 15 minutes earlier.

LotR:RotK should've ended about 40 minutes earlier.

While I don't watch many films, dream endings definitely need to go. And I'm not sure if the "or was it really a dream?" take on this irritates me more or less.

I'm taking revenge by means of vengeful deconstruction in the story I'm writing, so that's taken care of, at least >_>

The whole series of 'How it should have ended' or HISHE is pretty much spot on to be honest.

The most hilarious one is this:

It is so true.

Well...they only did that cause they ran out of money and couldn't use what they had written. Also, deliberately bad is still bad.

I take it we're operating under the assumption that the prequels never happened? Because this post doesn't make much sense unless we are (actually, scratch that. If I remember the lore right, I think the powers of the remaining Jedi were greatly diminished after the Empreror's rise to power and the Jedi Purge. Don't quote me on that, though. I'll have to ask my cousin.)

If a movie stops making sense because newly invented canon after the fact says it does, then it's the newly invented canon that's wrong, not the movie.

I was under the assumption that it had been universally accepted that the Prequels were no longer regarded as canon ever since RedLetterMedia put the final nail in the coffin on that shit. The prequels are a cancer that does nothing but fill the plot to Star Wars with contradictions. It needs to be removed from it.

I'm I the only person who thinks that the Inceotion ending was pretty damn sweet. Wouldn't call it a cliffhanger, cuz I seriously doubt (...well hope) that there going to be any sequels.

Also I would like a real endning to just about any Cohen brothers movie. Like the movies, for th most part, they just lack any kind of resolution.

No, they did it because they wanted to get that reaction out of you. See, that's kinda Monty Python's schtick. Incredibly self-aware satirical humor that rarely has any punchlines. Just insanity. That ending was a way to rid the movie of a punchline, just like all their other jokes. It's funnier when the whole picture is seen

WET should have ended with Rubi carrying out that threat to the Fat Guy on Pelham. (IE, Shove her sword down his throat, pull out so hard it rips his stomach out through his mouth)

Supernatural season 5 should have been the end of it all.

There should've been the start of a fight between Sam-Lucifer and Adam-Michael and Dean somehow making them stop. The rest was good except the crap about Chuck being God (because that makes NO sense). Instead of Sam standing outside there should have been the light flicker and then maybe a white flash or something sugesting a ghost because 1) Dean going to a normal life is believable but adding the flash hints that he never completly gives up being a hunter and 2) if escaping the pit was that easy surely Lucifer would have escaped decades ago

Any movie with a "twist" that you get ten minutes into it. "Shutter Island" was especially guilty of this.
***SPOILER ALERT**
It would have worked better if he wasn't crazy after all and there really was this big conspiracy. It's similar to the "It was all a dream. Or was it? Wait, yes it was" mechanic.
**End Spoiler Alert*

Also, AI should have ended about 10 minutes earlier. The happy ending really seemed tacked on to try to please viewers.

HISHE videoes are great to watch. I wanted this ending to have happen the most.

I felt so sad for him in the real ending :(.
