I haven't really "dated" for about five years, because that's when I moved in with my girlfriend, and we've been married for two years.

Couple weeks ago. I'm the only singleton in my suite at school, so I tend to play the part of the romantic daredevil in social situations while my three mates either wingman me or just let me fly solo. I've got enough social finesse that I tend to generate a lot of short-term flings, although I've never managed to keep a steady relationship for longer than about four months. Working on that one.

About three weeks ago, we used to work together.

Apparently, we are much more in love with the idea of dating one another then actually doing so. It was fun, but I think it was the fact we didn't have to be all sneaky about it that made it seem a little diluted. We've talked about going out again, but... it has yet to happen.

Funny, a few days ago I was talking to a friend of mine about how much I need a good story to scare away the little dwarf that keeps telling me "You are playing a game, it´s not real". These days, when I'm playing something either it's mindless fun with friends or something that stimulates something more than my reflexes.

But, guess this happens when you have been playing FPSs since Wolf3D.

Mindless fun with friends is always good. Sadly, most games with gripping tales don't come with a multiplayer co-op mode.

What's stopping me?

1. Confidence has been destroyed.
2. No one likes a pessimistic misanthrope.
3. Overweight and weak.
4. Too much potential garbage the opposite sex would bring to the table.

Last Saturday... like 6 days ago.

And my next is this Saturday, a day and a half away.

No sex, I'm only fifteen and have a decently strong moral compass. It always seems to point a little to the East though... but still, no intentions of that for a long while.

I don't think I've ever actually been on a date as such. I've gone out with girls I've been interested in and gone out with girlfriends, but I wouldn't consider any of those any of those an actual date. On a slightly related topic I haven't had a girlfriend in about six months and haven't gotten laid in the last five years. Yes I'm sad.

About a two weeks ago, but it didn't go over to well. I ended up getting mad at my ex's(ex is the reason it didn't go over to well) dad and ended up about punching him but ended up putting a dent in there fridge. :D

Why terror? The opposite sex aren't scary. They're people too.
Just relax, once you meet the right person it's surprisingly easy.
You've outlined the problem right there. Finding the right person suddenly becomes a lot harder when everybody seems to be suggesting that if you don't find a date by a certain stage in your life that you're a pathetic freak and that you're suffering from some sort of mental illness.
What he said. Sure it's a breeze once you meet the right person, but finding that person is like looking a needle in a haystack. And since I lack the confidence and any knowledge about how to go about pursuing women, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack with 2 broken arms and blindfolded.

I'd rather say I've never been on a date than saying I was on one, but was stood up. About a year ago.
