My first and last date was several months ago now. I don't intend on having one for a very long time. As you can probably tell, it didn't go well at all.

I've never been on a date, or had any event even remotely romantic occur.
I've had one serious crush, though- it kinda fell apart (ie is still there and hurts like a *****) when she left. See, turns out she was only ever going to attend for about a year, whilst her father was working here.
I guess I've never tried because
A) I have zero self confidence
B) I know that, if something serious does happen, sex is basically expected- even now, in Year 11, it's assumed. I don't want to engage in any sexual activity yet, maybe ever, and I know the person in question will (fairly enough) not want to continue when they realise we've hit a dead end.

Few months ago. I keep meaning to ask a few different girls out but always either chicken out at the last minute or come by the knowledge of them being taken at the worst possible moment. Usually just before I ask them.
I also hate being made a fool of by being rejected. Hasn't really stopped me trying, just pushes me to not try on more than one occasion.
I'm also somewhat infatuated with a girl who doesn't think of me on the same level either. Which sucks. Hopefully with time my damn psyche will get over it. Until then, I'm a bit of a slave to my unconscious desires unless I seriously watch myself.

My last date was almost 11 months ago. My first REAL girlfriend, and so far only. I am single again, and for the foreseeable future, so it's unlikely to change very soon.
I think about a week ago. I'm very poor when it comes to a sense of days passing, so I never really remember things like that too well.
That would be a problem for me too. If we could agree to not talk about our religious opinions it could work, but if anyone even tries to make me unbelieve in evolution that would make me turn back into the world of loneliness.Ekonk said:
Not sure if I've been on any dates, don't really know what counts and what doesn't. The reason is mainly because I'm either an ugly unfunny person or insecure or parts of both where the latter seems probable.
