That isn't too much different than me.ResidentSinophile said:For me, 5 minutes of cardio warmup, half an hour of weights, half an hour of cardio. The weights consist of one group (arms, back+chest, abs, lower body) that I cycle through each session.
If the workout in question involved lower body, I usually chill a bit before I hop on the EFX.
What do you think the perfect weight is? You're going to lose weight if you stop working out, I'm fairly certain.Zack Alklazaris said:I do about 5 minutes of crunches every day. Just keeps my stomach muscles toned. I'm at the perfect weight so yea, no real strenuous workout.
Well it differs from person to person. For me, I'm 5'11" and weigh 140 pounds. I lose much more and I become anorexic.(complete with being able to count my rib bones) Also I once went 3 days without eating much of anything and I dropped 10 pounds and that was with no exercise at all.Logiclul said:That isn't too much different than me.ResidentSinophile said:For me, 5 minutes of cardio warmup, half an hour of weights, half an hour of cardio. Didn't know this, thanks for letting me know. The Cool Kid said:15 mins walk up, 45 mins to 1 hr weights. Any more time is wasted due to you ATP stores being depleted and you would start using protein ATP which, if you wanted to build muscle, would cause a problem.Logiclul said:For those of you who lift weights/work out, how long does each session usually last?
Purpose for this thread is that it has been brought to my attention that I might not be going long enough each session.
Thanks ahead of time for responses!
Fair enough, I work out because I like to play sports. Not everyone has to, I want to gain some weight, not lose it.lRookiel said:Who needs muscles? pfft.
I have a balanced Diet to keep me in check. which involves Fruit, Veg, Quorn for my protein, nuts too, the occasional bit of junk food and Cranberry juice. I'm 6 foot 2 and weigh 11 stone, perfect weight for me to be honest.
So to answer your question, I dont workout because I dont need or want to. :3
I just don't lose weight, Even with 5 days of week of wrestling practice, boot camp, or really anything I just don't lose weight. I am far from bad shape, but I always been meaty and probably always will be. And yes my diet is very healthy. The Cool Kid said:You are then doing something wrong; either your diet or the wrong type of cardio.Marcus Kehoe said:I try to get an hour of cardio/weights a day. I never have lost weight in my life though, just don't lose fat no matter how much I work out.
Count your calories and make sure your cardio is at the right BPM and no more then 45 mins at any one time.
