Jesus this thread makes me feel even lazier than I thought.

I do 90 curls of about 25-30 pounds (I'm 125 pounds, about 5'10) switching off arms every 30 reps generally every night. I'm a very skinny person, so I have to do that as to not look malnourished.

I do a 15 minute run every week, because I have absolutely no will power to keep myself on a regular schedule because I'm extremely lazy. The only reason I really work out is to keep a passable figure on top of my charming good looks, and I'm the kind of person who's surprisingly stronger than he looks, but I'm beginning to get sick of not having pecs.

This thread did kind of inspire me, so I think I'm gonna start keeping a schedule of a general (I've seriously said the word "general" about 15 times now, I keep having to delete and find a new word. It's creeping me out) work outs so I can actually gain tone in my muscles. I'm also planning on joining the military soon, and I realized today that it's challenging for me to load a gun magazine, so this is probably something I need to do.

I'm 19 and I've finally decided to actively start looking for ways to lose my virginity, not just sit back and hope something falls into my lap[sub][sub]Ba-dum ching[/sub][/sub]. Attractive red head in my Math class, prepare to be flirted at by a guy who hasn't actively flirted with someone since 7th grade.

I'm still fairly lean at 69kg 183cm, but 55kg? I'm not sure what the entry standard is for your local military, but we've had guys about your size join my unit here and they generally don't do very well. Sometimes from lack of heart, but generally their heart is is it and the body just can't cope. My bulking meal is usually either chicken, turkey or kangaroo mince, rice and sweet potatoes cooked up together, and some roast potatoes on the side.

The best thing that ever happened to me was meeting a brilliant training partner. Namely, my Bombardier at Army. Training with him enabled me to get started right the first time, rather than making common mistakes that a lot of guys new to training weights make. But there are plenty of places on the net that you can read up about proper training and nutrition. Muscle And Fitness is a fantastic magazine too.

One thing I will say about joining the military, focus on functional lifting. What I mean is, you're never going to stand dead upright, elbows tucked in and lift with your biceps in the real world. Now, obviously that is great for isolating the bicep and I'm not saying don't use that proper technique, but use compound movements too. Kettlebell workouts are awesome cause there is more often than not the whole body used in the movements.

For me cardio and weights are 2 separate workouts. On weight days I do everything (legs, arms, back, chest, shoulders, etc) but I try to vary it up so my muscles don't get into a constant rhythm.

On cardio days I warm up with just kinda shooting around on the basketball court, then I do treadmill (anywhere from .5-1 mile, I'm not a distance runner) then I do rows for maybe, 15 minutes, then I do bike for a couple of miles.

All in all, I usually spend about 2 hours in the gym at a time.

I'm also involved in a "biggest loser" contest to right now my workouts consists almost entirely of cardio 5-6 days a week, but the above schedule is my usual routine.

I think each of my shifts at work could be considered a workout considering the amount of physical work it requires: unload boxes from truck, move boxes to specific area of store, open boxes, place item on shelf. It may not sound like much but each truck has between 18 - 25 hundred boxes not counting pallets of other things.

However long it takes for me to blow off steam or until I feel tired or realize I'm not really feeling up to exercise. Usually between 5 minutes to 1 hour.

I usually do about 10 minutes of cardio warmup, then I follow it up with an hour or 40 minutes(depends how motivated I am) of weights and exercise (push ups etc). I also have boxing training, when I have that, I just do 5 minutes of cardio before hand and some light weights. Oh, and I train 6 days a week, both combined.

Thanks for the advice. I looked around and found and article that was related to what you were talking about.

Yikes.... I think I'm about to feel a pretty rude awakening.

Hour and a half of martial arts 4 days a week. 2 mile walk if I have martial arts that day, 4 miles otherwise. Weights 4 days a week, curls, squats and benchpress. Parkour on weekends or if I really need to get somewhere quick. Crunches every time I come home from school. Leisure swimming after homework. Gyms are stressful. I don't bother with them.

I'm have a quest to be "the sexiest geek in existence", but I need to lose about 20 or so pounds (fucking love-handles). So I've been doing "super circuits": full-body workouts using moderate weight and low reps as fast as I can manage. I only do 20-minute sessions (it wears you down FAST) followed by some stretching and some eats. I do that 4 days a week.

On the "off-day", I'll slap some Sonic music on my Zune and go for a brief run. :)

Well I don't know your gender, but as a guy, I want to be weighing more than 150-160 area. But to each his own.
150-160kg? I don't really want to sound rude or anything, but that sounds a bit much to me as far as ideal weight goes Oo.

About an hour of whatever im doing at the time for either 5 or 6 days a week, it depends of what im doing at work and if i have the time. At the moment im going to the gym and doing stuff there so i dont need to go for longer than an hour. I used to do cardio every day, but that got really really boring.

My buddy and I shoot for a three day a week, hour long session which includes thirty minutes of cardio and thirty minutes of weights (though after we got into the swing of things, the weights part was shortened due to us getting better at it). Then every day we don't work out, I generally take a three mile walk around 11 PM just to get some exercise that day. It's been working for me.

I don't work out. I can walk for miles at a time if I need to, though, and I do with relative frequency, being at the mercy of this city's horrible transit system.

Usually I do weights every other day, which lasts an about an hour or so, with a 5 min or so warm up beforehand. On days I'm not lifting weights I go running for about 45 mins, less than that if I have kickboxing training (2 hour sessions 4 days a week) on that day, so usually I end up doing some sort of exercise everyday.

Surely your height factors greatly into what your 'ideal' weight is?

I'm working in Pounds, and if you have tone muscle and are 6' 2" then that isn't a crazy idea.

100 crunches
25 chin ups
20 push ups (I have basically no chest muscles ¬.¬)
Plank 1 minute

Every weekday.
Anything more than that and I feel too sore the next day.

Well yeah but I'm over 180cm so I imagine I'm among the taller of the bunch Oo.

Yeah, thanks for specifying X3. When I set "69kg" and you just go 150-160 my brain doesn't automatically translate that into pounds, especially because I never use pounds unless I'm talking to someone from one of the few countries that use it.

EDIT: Failed at the quoting >> fixed now, hopefully.
