How long have you been coming to the Escapist?

About 7 years. I began visiting the forums sometime after I just came here to watch Zero Punctuation.
It's safe to say that I practically grew up on these forums, and I'm not going to lie in saying that you guys have contributed to my understanding of English as well as many other things.
To me, the Escapist is the one ship I will keep fighting for to stay afloat for that very reason.

Shit, it really doesn't feel like 8 years have gone by. Damn you, sir, for making me feel old before it is rightfully my time to do so!
I started coming here not long after I first went to college. Then it took me until December to get bored enough to sign up.
And now I just lurk around here every now and then.

I guess I've been around for a while, not really all that active though since I mostly hung around the RP forums (and still do to some degree).
I remember first visiting when I was linked a video for Zero Punctuation (I think it was the "Halo" review, though I'm really not sure) and sticking around for more of the same. It wasn't until a month or two later that I got around to making an account when I spotted an RP in the forum feed that looked interesting (Random Medieval Battle, I think? It's long since been purged) and that's essentially what got me started with forum RPs as well.
So yeah, good times, wouldn't trade it for anything, but I guess I've become a bit of an old curmudgeon when I compare the activity in the RP section to a few years ago. I should probably just get over it and grab a nice cosy blanket for the rocking chair on my porch though.

Started watching around 2009 I guess? Is that when Yahtzee started making videos? I joined July 2010 as you can see on the left there, but I lurked for quite awhile before deciding I might have something to say in the forums.
I've been lurking since 08/09, but didn't make an account untill January 2011. It has been a wild ride to say the least; I almost got banned one time!
According to my profile I've been a member since Feb 2010(6 year anniversary yay) but I reckon I was making weekly visits for about a year before that as a person on a now defunct site I was a member of used to post a link to the new Zero Punctuation every week
