How long have you played games

I remember playing games on the old Colecovision prior to this but my first active memory is playing Sierra's original Police Quest which came out in 1988. In 1988, I was six so I have been playing games for over 22 years!

3-4 yo as well. My First game was Russian Pong! console. That would make around 22 years.

I've been playing games since 007 Goldeneye on the N64.

Almost 20 years now. Started around the time I was 5 or 6, I'm 25 now.

Probably since I got my Spectrum 48k+ in 1986 I think, when I was about 5. So 24 years! Apart from the usual dross, like Hungry Horace, the first major game I remember playing was Operation Wolf...

i started around 1995 i think. i still play the same sega mega drive today.

I started playing games properly at the age of four in 1992, though I'd messed around on games like Sonic the Hedgehog the year beforehand. I used to play Splatterhouse 2, Mortal Kombat, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2 at the time.

Oddly nobody took issue with any of the violent games I played.

10 years, I reckon. Got Pokemon, and a PS1 when I was 5.

I can't really remember, but I think I've played games since I was 9 or 10. At least since I was 10.

Can't remember the very first game, but the first game that made me realize I was a gamer was either Pokemon Yellow or Red.

I've been playing games for almost my entire life, my first game was "Mixed Up Mother Goose" for the Amiga (Its actually a good game shut up). Followed by some unnamed dungeon crawler as soon as I was old enough to understand levels. That'd put me at like, 17 or 18 years gaming. I'm 21 now.

First game I played was either Sonic or Streets of Rage, back when I was around 3 or 4 years old, so 1994.

I started when I was 8 so around 10 years now...and my first game was Mario Kart: Double Dash

Probably 3 or 4 when I picked up a "real" game (some side-scrolling platformer, probably) as opposed to some noughts-and-crosses game that my dad programmed. (That's tic-tac-toe if you're American. And fat.)

So at least 22 years.

And I think I can claim to have been a games programmer for at least 20.

I guess... technically, since I was old enough to hold a controller. Fourteen years now. I started seriously playing Halo in 2001, and I started seriously playing video games in general in the year the 360 came out. It's been a good life...

I would have to guess around when I was 5 with the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Go 10 years of gaming!
