How long is Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Thinking of getting it tomorrow, as that is the time it is released in the EU, but I'm not quite sure yet. Most Single Player games nowdays tend to be quite short, being completed in less than a day, is this any different?

Also, between the difficulty settings, is there a big difference?

Difficulty definitely changes it, guards and bosses are much smarter, it's more fun for me on a harder setting. The length is fairly long, I have played in about 10-12 hours, and from what I've seen i'm about halfway through. But there are also reasons to re-visit old locations, plus the challenege maps are a blast, so it has a good bit of replay value as well.

I would recommend it personally, it is challenging, but if your up to it, it is a very rewarding challenge. Also, you could always play through the main game on normal and play the challenge maps on hard.

I normally play all games on the hardest difficulty, it always gives makes the game last longer, and i seem to burn through games everyday, Arkham is meant to be really good and fairly decent lenght.
