I was talking to my friends about it yesterday, and I realised that I owned the most games out of all of them. So I decided to see how that compared to "real gamers". So how many 360/Wii/PS3/DS/PSP/Post 2006 PC games do you own?

Too many, many more than I've actually finished.

If I had to ballpark it, it would be around 100+, though I've sold a few to make room for the ones I currently have.

That's what disposable income will get you.

EDIT: Do XBLA/PSN games count? Because, uh, then it's even worse.

360 about 25
ps3, 3
PC about 70

/PSN/XBL 10

So round 110

Plus the vast librarys of games from ancestor generation systems.

Pretty much this. I just see cheap titles and I'm like, "Wow, this looks bad, but it's less expensive than a movie. I have to try it."

PS3/360/Wii: Zero. I went PC exclusive for good in 2005, not counting...
DS: 9. I keep it by the bedside for relaxing before falling asleep. Civ Revolution in particular does wonders for winding my brain down.
Post-2006 PC: Let's see...from Oblivion forward...probably about 20-25, although since I still play PC games as old as 1997 (Fallout 1) I never really thought to divide them.

(and for what it's worth, Steam says I've got 36 games listed.)

Two.

Everything else is many generations ago.

PC only, though. My consoles got broken/stolen/pawned off by flatmates.

Uh...

Wii Sports
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
GoldenEye 007
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

. . .Though I owned Super Paper Mario, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Endless Ocean, Zelda: The Twilight Princess, Okami, Trauma Center: New Blood, No More Heroes, and Super Mario Galaxy before I sold my Wii then re-bought it.

Let's see.

About 50 PS2 games, and 26 PS3 games. They're expensive as hell around here, so I don't have as many as I'd like to.

Then why do you post on a videogaming forum?
Because i like to play games, just not current gen ones. There also were a handful of games in recent years that i liked - but i didn't have to buy them, and therefore do not "own" them. Plus, you excluded retro-style games.

The main reason why i post on the escapist, is that it has more members that are fed up with current trends in videogames, than is typical for videogame-forums. Many of them still buy games, and then post dissatisfied. I'm among the few who don't even bother anymore to buy.

Post 2006 PC - 5 (Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4, Bioshock 2, Starcraft 2, The Orange Box)
Wii - 6 (Wii Sports, Wii Play, Rock Band 2, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Mega Man 9)
DS - 2 (Mega Man Zero Collection, Mega Man ZX)

To be fair, my standards for games are pretty damn high. The last games I've been really excited for in the past 3 years were Brawl, DMC 3 & 4, Starcraft 2, and MMZC. Every upcoming game nowadays for me is a matter of "ehh, this might be good."
