Insistently if you do could you help me with my uni project.
I am trying to design a new cycle helmet, if you can it would be great if you could fill in a questionnaire linked below.

I reckon gloves are more important. In New Zealand, this child died because he didn't wear a helment and his mother pushed for helmets to be complusary. Helmets are only useful, say for Downhill, not much for road, your automatically going to put your hands in the way of you and the ground.

Yeah, but if you break your hand or arm, it can be fixed. If you break your head...not so much.

I cycle pretty much everywhere I go, it's one of the reasons why I haven't learnt to drive yet, it's just so much easier to park a bike and and get around in urban areas.

Pretty much this.

But my town is so rich in crime, it's not safe to park your bike on the streets haha.
But meh, I've only got a bad;y put together £110 BMX, so whatever. It's pretty though.

I never wear a helmet but sure, I'll do your questionnaire. I need anything to distract me form this stupid French Revolution powerpoint I have to do -_-'''''

I cycle everywhere... It's easier and cheaper than driving.
Helmets have always made me feel safe... and I've always worn one... it feels wrong riding without one Imo.

Yeah I have a crappy looking BMX if i'm going to go into town but my mountain bike has been stolen twice, although now I'm at Uni it's safer as there are dedicated bike storage areas.

I do loads of road riding and I reckon a helmet is pretty essential for that. If you're going fast and get hit by a car it won't help much, but there's always the possibility that it could. It will definitely help for minor bumps; a solid crack between head and pavement would hurt less with a helmet.
Also if you have a nice helmet and cool sunglasses you look like a fucking god.

Mountain biker here, helmets are a must or the insides of your head will be outside your head which isn't good.

I agree. Even in the wondrous sprawling cityscapes that exist in North America, bikes kick car's asses several times over. Don't pay for parking, get exercise, weave through traffic/skip lights, no fuel costs, it's great. And they end up being a lot faster than most people crack them up to be. I've biked from basically the furthest suburbs to downtown tonnes of times before, and it's basically the same time as driving during rush hour would (on a goddamn 3 lane highway!)

I love cycling even though lots of people see me as weird (big fat guy who love cycling? what?) I love my bike so much, and then... it got stolen.

I cycle to class sometimes, but our criminal lack of dedicated cycle lanes kinda means I usually don't bother and walk to class. Also it is uphill and if you don't check yourself you wreck yourself.
