How many of you, Escapists, enjoy doing 3D?

I'm a computer games designer currently at University, so working with 3D is part of my course.
It's something I really enjoy both as part of the course, and as a hobby.

Atm, I use Maya and UnrealEditor3 (for 2004), and photoshopCS3 for texturing both 3D characters and levels

I'm studying Game Development and I like 3D, but it is so time intensive. I've lost hours on my assignments just making something that looks decent. People really take this work for granted.

I've only skimmed of what to learn about 3D, but I do like it (except unwrapping)
I use 3DMax for modeling and Photoshop for textures.

Yeah, I have to do a bit of 3d for my education (game design and architecture, basicly "how to make computer games"), but I'm on the programming half of the course, so not much. And I like 2d better (both in art and programming) anyways.

I used Solid Works in a robotics class I took last year. I'm pretty good with it if I do say so myself.

I am weak in artistic skill but I did do some for a class waaaayyyy back in Highschool and I found it pretty fun.

I think I'd be better at 3d than 2d art anyway, I've always been a better sculptor and builder than a penciller.

Last summer, I vowed to figure out enough modelling to contribute to any HL2 modelling I did...

So I got the DVDs from some company that does tutorials, and I can build functional models. Note I say "functional" and not "good". Means I can put them into games, but they're misproportioned monstrosities. usually I build levels rather than people, so animate creatures are foreign to me - I do need more practice, but my decent computer is back home, and I'm working on an old-style game at the moment. Grr.

Wow, more people replied than I thought :p I'd like to see some of your works, even if they suck. It's great for inspiration. (Though I'm not sure if it's allowed)

@Anarchemitis: Nice animation. Pflow and camera movement?
