I can do maybe 50 good pushups at one time without stopping, and in my prime (probably 4 months ago) I used to run 3 miles and hardly break a sweat, 7 or 8 max.

Well, according to my mandatory fitness test, 25.

It just happens to be the exact minimum amount required to be of average fitness health for a 15 year old.

Hooray for mediocrity!

If it counts what it feels like, I've done... OVER 9000!!!

realistically, though, about 15 per day

I see that The Escapist is is pretty good shape generally. This makes me feel somewhat inadequate.
Now for me:
Pushups: about 100, taking one or two 5-second breaks in the up position
Mile: turns out about 2, easily. Any more gets into the realm of "pushing myself"
Leg Press: about 400, with multiple sets of 10 reps in one workout.
Squats: 10 of 200, with multiple sets.
40-Yard: 7 seconds, I think. I was the third-slowest guy on my football team (not that it matters though, as I play line anyway).

Cardio is for wimps.

not sure about the push-ups, not sure about the running,

but i squat 320+, bench 190, and powerclean 210.

and leg press is weak shit compared to the squat

I can leg press quite a lot, though above 90 lbs. starts to give me trouble. I've never tried bench-pressing.

At one time? Did 40 earlier... used to be able to do 50-60. Running though, I can't do... I can walk for hours without getting tired or anything, but can't run...

Actually, had a pushup test last year at school, and had to do it where you pause for 3 seconds while you are up and down. Another skinny guy and I (being an nonathletic nerd) were the only ones that were able to do 35 to get an A. All the other people, including the jocks, couldn't do it.

50 without stopping, but I exit without being all too tired. I do 100 every evening, but that's with a break after the first 50 and another small break after the second 30.

I can't do many. I'm in excellent shape (run 5 miles a day, lift every other day), but old baseball shoulder injuries just kill me doing pushups and bench presses.

Around about 25 - 30 if I strain.

I used to be able to do almost 50 on my knuckles. Time indeed makes weaklings of us all...

hmm just did 30. Two weeks ago I couldn't do 10.

I'm doing this program where over 6 weeks you can get to one hundred pushups:
http://hundredpushups.com
check it out if you are interested in improving.
They also have one for 200 situps.
It takes some dedication but it feels worth it.

Oh and before anyone accuses me of spamming, check the site out first, cuz it's real..

I can probably do 30-40 real pushups in a row before requiring rest. I haven't done any appreciable exercise in about 5 years, but I'm huge and have the natural strength that comes with it. If I were to exert any sort of effort towards it, I could probably fairly easily do around 75-100 before needing to stop.

I'm just a lazy fuck who doesn't care enough to exercise, so I don't.
