How Many Shepards Do You Have?

One. And I enjoyed the games enough that I did a couple of playthroughs with that one, as the same class, making all the same decisions. When a game is as heavily written and story oriented as Mass Effect, I just CANNOT play through as a different gender, or with different looks, or doing/saying different things. In my head, Shepard looks and talks and acts a certain way. I don't want to watch a LOTR where Frodo is suddenly a heavyset, fast talking Asian brawler, and I don't want to play a Mass Effect where Shepard is completely different. My head will just be screaming "That's not Shepard" the entire time.

Only 2: John Shepard, my default male Shepard which will probably be the first I export since he got the "no one left behind" achievement; and Shepard Shepard, a renegade I made to try to look like me, just for laughs...

One for every class except for adept and all of them female also soldier is my main one and she is a very bad person. And one male because I wanted to get into Ashley's pants. So that makes six.

Four in total, although one of them's a man-shep I downloaded to import into ME2, the rest are Fem-Sheps with the various backgrounds and a mix of classes/paragon and renegade balances/romances.

Most attached to my spacer/sole survivor paragrade soldier though, not a big FPS player so running around shooting things is still a novelty for me (although, sweet zombie jebus, vanguard charge is massive amounts of fun!).

3 FemSheps, one 100% complete soldier pure paragon, one 100% complete adept pure renegade, and one engineer neutral/indifferent speed run I did for the insanity achievment.

Completed and ready for ME3 I have Kitai, a soldier paragon FemShep, Vin, a renegade vanguard FemShep, and Anyanwu, my canon FemShep sentinel.

I am also trying to get an Adept ManShep named Tavi ready but I don't know if he will be there in time.

And I beat the game with an engineer ManShep but restarted with him and didn't keep the old save to avoid clutter... and then sorta lost him in the dust.

And I also have an infiltrator ManShep I've been playing with occasionally, but mostly I'm trying to complete Tavi's playthrough.

I have about seven right now, but I'm planning on making a new female Shepard all the way from ME1 to import to 3. The main reason is that I want to name her Cassandra, after the Greek myth. Short version: Cassandra had the gift of prophecy, but was cursed so that no one ever believed her warnings.

I have around 7 Sheps in ME2, with about 3 in ME1 if i remember right...that was before I started my last 2, I'm taking my Renegade Male, with the Default Shepard image, with Bring Down the Sky complete in ME1, through ME2, got all the DLC, and am done with him.
I started a Paragon Male and Paragon Female in ME1, ending both with Paragon Endings. Taking them through ME2, making Male stay Paragon, with FemShep leaning Renegade after, you know, being killed and losing 2 years of her life. Both with all DLC completed. I'm done with Overlord, Kasumi, Zaeed, Project Firewalker and all Squadmates alive through the end of the game on both files.
Male Shep is completely done minus a few minor missions, and FemShep has Shadow Broker and Arrival left, with several minor missions to finish.
I'll be done with all of them completely by March. While I finish my N7 armor for the ME3 midnight release between days off work and other stuff!
Can't wait to get my hands on my Collectors N7 Edition!!! =D

3. 2 FemShep and 1 MaleShep all of them are paragon.

1 FemShep is my canon main Shep. She is with Liara.
2.FemShep is in anticipation of lesbian romance (with Chobot?) in ME3.
3.MaleShep forced myself to play as MaleShep just for Tali romance.

as for choices i always make same ones that feel right to me: save council, kill off kaidan, save Rachni , destroy geth, save everyone.

A female Soldier and a Male Adept, bot Paragon, but i have 2 play throughs with each doing a different ending in ME2, I really never bothered to change my objectives in ME1, because saving the council always seemed like the more strategic ideal for me.

two. one good male shep (soldier) and one "evil" female shep (vanguard).

none of the other classes really appealed to me (full biotic, lame, sentinel, just a weaker soldier, tech class, lame, infiltrator, weaker soldier) so i didn't really see the point in playing it for a third time through.

and i have heard many people say that soldier is a weak class and i just don't buy that at all. with adrenaline rush + incendiary ammo and reave and team him up with garrus / samara or zaeed / garrus and we were unstoppable. with that latter pair i utterly wrecked the collectors in the last mission. it was like fighting children.

I've got 4 of them and have completed the main storyline on 3 (one of which was simply for the purpose of killing off most of the cast just to see what they'd do in the next installment :3) though I'm not sure if I'll follow through with that extra one as I'm not sure there's a great deal I can do differently there, but it'll be fun for playing through a different class I guess.

Seconded - I love my soldier Shepard, towards the end of ME1 she was nigh on invincible and area reave kicks all kinds of arse combined with incendiary ammo for digging mercs out of cover and head-shotting them.

I have six Shepards in ME2 on PS3, each with a different class and different decisions. I've only actually done the Suicide Mission on three of these saves. I also had three Shepards in PC ME1 that I never carried over because the game didn't really work on my computer and I never finished it.

There is one Shepard. Nathan Shepard. The paragon Shepard, Tali's lover Shepard, the Savior of the Council, the man who brought his whole team through the collector base unharmed.

Any other Shepards I've played as were What-if story spinoffs. They only exist canonically as the misheard campfire stories told around the Galaxy.

That includes your Shepard, and any Shepard but mine.
