That goes for Halo and Gears of War as well. The former everything is a "noob" weapon and the latter everything is due to "host" or being a "noob" (chainsawing and two-piecing especially).

Online gamers in general are just sore losers.

Also, you are on probation for a low content post and decide to post a low content thread like this?

I think it has a fair amount of glitches, but it seems to have a somewhat decent balance, in my opinion anyways.

I agree that these are the opinions of an absurd number of people who play MW2, but I don't think there are any gamebreaking balance issues.

I don't think (at least I hope) that I'm on probation, I was on probation for agreeing with someone using one word. Unless that probation question was actually a statement, in which case: Drat.

According to this Riot shield isn't nooby. Well that means riot shiled sare the only non nooby thing in the whole game.

Everyone knows the greatest gun is the RPD. Well it was when I used to play MW2.
Drat, I forgot the riot shield and LMG sections. Ah well.

Yes, because it forces you to join a random server full of LOLRANDUMOLOLOLPENISPENIS kids with "ganja420weednaruto69bro" nicknames, running around with riot shields and throwing knives. Where are dedicated servers when I need a normal game with normal people and normal admin like it was in the times of good CoD:UO?

Here's the problem with EVERY online shooter, even Team Fortress 2:

No one wants to admit that dying was their own fault, so they make the guy who killed them to have so "unfair" advantage.

Me? I like to run head first into turrets and sniper range. Who cares about a K/D ratio? Not me, that's who!

Surely by now you people have figured it out.

Unless you're playing Counter Strike (1.6, there is no Source) on Dust only 8 v 8 deagles, knives and armour only then you're a complete, utter, pathetic and immature noob.

You're not even a noob, you're a nub, you're not even worth four letters nub, QQ moar and get back to your unbalanced nubbishness nub...

... and anyone that plants the bomb is even nubbier.

Look, Modern warfare 2 is a made for Xbox Live shooter. It's designed to let everyone jump in and kill shit, it's not fantastically well balanced but it's not unplayable (well, not completely unplayable). Everyone who picks it can have a go and come away having been rewarded in some way, don't focus on the details too much.

Let's see...

No shotgun should be akimbo. The riot shield needs to be breakable with enough bullets. The grenadier attachment needs some adjustment.

Those are my immediate concerns. Anything else is just rock, paper, scissors.

The idea is basically survival of the noobest. Everyone who is "good" does something incredibly noobish. I know 4 people who are insanely good/nooby. One dropshots, two of them have mods, and the last one glitches. I have no mods, I don't dropshot, I know zero glitches, I try not to camp and I'm just good enough to have a .99 K/D.

That's why I gave up on the multi-player completely and picked up a copy of Mass Effect 2, so far, no regrets.

I could care less about what weapons people use, but the apwans, maps, and killstreak (ESPECIALLY THE CARE PACKAGE) rewards make the game unbalanced. Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, we've all got spawn killed by predators and chopper gunners. I only play the game to get a massive amount of hate mail from 10 year olds calling me a "nub cake" for using the ACR w/ hearbeat and silencer, which is surprisingly entertaining when you get into an argument with them. I don't understand why they call me a noob; noobs can't go 65-8 on a regular basis. But in my honest opinion, MW2 is a piece of shit, trash, garbage, and failure.

The perk system needs to be rebalanced; personally I'd cut out Last Stand and have Final Stand require that someone revive you, or you bleed out, then switch Marathon with SitRep and make people choose between Marathon or Commando.

Also, the credit system of earning killstreaks (every few levels you get one credit to unlock any killstreak)is somewhat interesting... I'd like to see how that would work if applied to not only just killstreaks, but also weapons, equipment and perks (i.e. every few levels you get on credit to unlock any weapon/equipment/perk of your choosing).

Ain't that the truth right? Of course if nobody went batsh*t crazy as soon as they got the match-winning killcam they probably wouldn't play the game. From my perspective the only "good" people dropshot, camp, glitch etc, etc.

Mass Effect 2 will spare you the headache.
