How much can the Hadron Collider destroy the world?

Considering that they keep getting results that conflict with established theory, I don't think the guys running that thing really DO know precisely what they are doing.

I was wondering for a while. What's the exact danger of the Collider, and what can it do except making a black hole or big banging the existence out of it. Only the things it can screw up, not the miracles it can create if it doesn't kill us.

It could make Jesus mad...

Here's the only argument you ever need:

The kinds of energies the LHC deals in pale in comparison to what the universe does every single second in cosmic collisions, supernovae and the like, and has been doing for billions of years. If the large hadron collider could destroy the universe, we wouldn't be able to build it in the first place on account of not existing.
