So, I have become aware that there are alot of huge Star Wars fans on these forums. Well truthfully, until a few weeks back I didn't even know that there were books about it. So as you can guess I don't know much about the Star Wars universe, nothing outside of the movies and some games anyway. But what I want to know is how much do you know? Have you read all the books and know all there is to know. Or are you like me someone who enjoyed the movies but left it at that, or have you not even seen any of the movies?

For my shame, I know a lot more about Star Wars than I care to admit.

When I was a much younger, and less rakishly handsome and cool, man, I actually paid money for a Star Wars encyclopedia. I read it cover to cover, multiple times.

This is like an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting...

I've watched the movies (excluding the Clone Wars) and played KotOR 1 and 2. They provide a lot of backstory. It is interesting in the games to listen to the detail in Galactic History, and that is where I have received my knowledge. Mind you, there are bigger Star Wars fans than me.

I find the Star Wars movies to be very, VERY overrated. But I still love the universe because it's brought us gamers gems such as the Jedi Knight and KotOR series.

The full breadth of my Star Wars knowledge:

There were six movies,
Three of them were good,
Yoda was awesome,
Darth Vader's the bad guy,
He is Luke's father,
Jedi fight with lightsabers and force powers.

Done. That's it. I don't know how a lightsaber works, I don't know what Yoda was, I don't know any of the planets. I've played KOTOR II and some of KOTOR I but if there was useful information in there it went in one ear and out the other cause I know pretty much nothing.

Watched the movies since i was 3 (i'm 15) read a few of the books, but never got into them, would like to though.
Huge Star Wars nerd, compared to some my knowledge is craptastic, to my peers i might aswell be yoda.

Love the old movies (the new ones were...meh) Played a few games including both battlefronts, both KOTOR's, Jedi starfighter, Obi-wan (i was young *shudder*), revenge of the sith game, galactic battlegrounds and the clone Wars, played a bit of jedi academy and plan to get force unleashed.

I also have some of the star wars knowledge books, like the ones explaining a bit about each character and what weapon they use etc, but i lost them/stolen by a person i lent them to.

Oh and if you haven't seen these what is wrong with you. No seriously go watch the old ones, they are some of the best sci-fi ever made (the new ones hurt true fans, look for an older Star Wars online fan club and ask them what they think of the guy who played Anakin Skywalker in 2 and 3, then watch your screen melt).

Well, I know enough to make references to things in star wars to people that have seen the movies and have them not get it, but my friend is really into star wars and, I would assume, knows more about it than me.

Also, everyone stop complaining the prequels, you all remind me of the people who hate the new pokemon games, old people who talk about their crappy old toys like they're better than today's toys and those retards who think all abridged series joke steal from YuGiOh: The Abridged Series. So, you remind of old fanboys. DO YOU WANT TO BE REMINISCENT OF OLD FANBOYS? I didn't think so.

But fanboys generally say anything new is crap, most of us just say the acting/writing in the new ones could have been better, i like them i just liked the old ones more.

Edit: Originally Han Solo shot first, read that somewhere, but it was changed because people wanted Han to look less like he had murdered Greedo and more like he was acting in self defense... dammit i'm nerdy.

My qualifier question to determine how much people know about Star Wars.

Is the following true or false?

Sith = Dark Jedi

If you answered "True", then you've seen the movies and maybe played KOTOR. If you answered "False", you know more about Star Wars than is healthy. And you probably hate George Lucas.

Too much, my best friend from ages 5-15 was a HUGE Starwars fan, and now more recently I've developed my own love of the Extended Universe, so yeah, too much.

If you know what happened to Boba Fett after his little trip into the Sarlaac, you might be a geek.

Ok, so I've read the novelization of each movie, see every movie (with the exception of Clone Wars), have read many of the books, comics series, played the video games, and suffice it to say, am the somewhat proud owner of Masters of Teras Kasi.

Oh, and I do know what happened to Boba Fett after the Sarlaac.

I know far more than the average bear.

I used to roleplay on a Star Wars board, and wookiepedia became my very best friend.
