How much do you spend on games every month?

I almost always buy games in sales, and try to spend very little on those, so in a sale I'll only spend a maximum of like £20-£25 (About $26 to $33) on new games, but rarely that much, and nothing outside of those. Otherwise, my monthly subscription to Final Fantasy XIV is £8 (Roughly $10.50). If I had to average my total spend out it's probably somewhere in the region of £10 to £15 a month (About $13 to $20).

I'm not consistent at all in this regard. Also regional pricing and sales create a lot of variance in how much I spend. The last thing I bought was Postal 2 Paradise Lost(and I didn't spend a dime cause it was basically pennies and I just sold a few steam trading cards for it), and I believe it is the only thing I've bought this month? I might snap up Wasteland 3 after work though.

My friends also cause random purchases for the sake of multiplayer. I've also kinda stopped caring so much about playing things on release and have been content to wait for Steam Sales.

I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a game, but I do spend a fair bit in sales, especially now with the plague. Anywhere from 60-100 Canadian dollars a month I guess, depending on what's available. I've definitely been considering some kind of stricter budget though since I can't really afford it and I buy way more games than I play.

Yeah, never pay full price or buy at launch but then that means every year there's a Summer sale that bleeds me dry by selling tons of games for 70% off.

To be honest I'm not even sure I'm into games anymore, I rarely ever buy anything and when I do it's very rare that I'll play it for more than 5 hours total, I don't think I've bought any games this year for example.

It's kinda weird since I did use to play a lot but I guess that the extremely long sessions of gaming I used to engage in don't translate well to adult full time 10 hours job if I want to get any sleep, which I often don't.

Not much, honestly. Setting aside that I've got a fondness for a handful of free to play games which I can put hundreds of hours into and a bit of a habit of going back to games like Terraria and Subnautica, I also have a relatively sizable backlog of games I got as gifts that I still intend to go through, containing everything from Fallout 4, XCom 2 and the Witcher Trilogy, to Tales of Zestiria and Ni no Kuni. Nevermind the ever-expanding list of freebies I've picked up and still haven't played, like Hitman, Amnesia, Metro 2033, the various Shadowruns, Beyond Good and Evil, Assassin's Creed Unity...Point being that most of the games I purchase myself are for birthday and Christmas presents.

Ordinarily that's me too - I spent about $200 last year total - but that's because up until a few months ago I refused to buy digital copies. Now that I'm locked up and the stores are closed or understocked I just buy digital; moreso I'm hoarding up on every indie game I've missed for the past 5 years or so. They're on sale and everything is $3-$5 tops but boy do they pile up easy...
Yeah, especially the Switch makes it so easy to just buy indie games on a whim. You just grab the device, turn it on, and you're on the store in seconds. I've bought loads of indie games on the Switch, and most I haven't gotten too far into, like Owlboy, Return of the Obra Dinn, and Celeste, eventhough they're pretty damn good.

That varies greatly, you have months were a gamefly sub is all I pay for, and you have months like last March that had like 4 things I super wanted come out.

I'd say on average about 50 bucks? Something like that.
