How much is it worth?

I went around to a few garage sales with my father this morning and I saw a Collector's Edition of Baldur's Gate II. I had never played the game but i had heard about it online. I had a gut feeling that it would be worth something. It has all the pieces and everything looks as good as new so I bought it for $3. Could anybody tell me if this was a good find or did i just waste $3? The only reason I bought it was because i thought it would sell for a lot more than $3.

What's the coolest thing you've found whilst shopping at a garage sale or a Flea market etc.?
Have you bought something very cheaply that turned out to be worth a lot of money?

I got that game for £1.
My mums boyfriends friend was selling his old games because his wife made him. I haven't played it though. I don't think this is a gaming PC...

Considering you can download the game for free at their homepage I'd say it might be wasted money. But then again, you got something else besides just the game itself? In that case I'd say it's worth it. Plus, 3$ is barely anything.

Dude i can't even get a decent meal for $3 and you got one of the best game of the 90s if not of gaming history. That's one sweet deal.
