How does it calculate anyway? Because I have L4D & L4D2 (bought for $10.19), individually they're regularly $19.99 each but as a bundle they're $29.99, so does that mean it's worth $29.99 or $39.98? Also, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch is $4.99, but you get it free with an nVidia or ATI graphics card - which is everyone who's capable of playing the game, so that really shouldn't be worth anything.

That just means that for whatever reason they couldn't find the date you joined. 1 January 1970 is the default date for most computer programs because oftentimes dates and times are stored as counters for days or seconds since 12:00 AM 1 January 1970 (preceding dates are stored as negative values). It's just some utterly arbitrary thing they all collectively decided on using as a standard.
