How often do you discuss video games?

For me, not very often. My friends aren't real gamer, and lately neither have I been.
Occasionally I'll say "Hey, you have you heard of XXX Game?"
But that's about it.

Sometimes I'll talk about games, but more with my internet friends, or with my friends over msn compared to in real life. I dunno why.

Indeed. I'm sure I'm not the only person who gets more than a little annoyed with people who feel the need to repeat an opinion they've expressed before on several occasions. Especially if they constantly use it to break an awkward silence. There's only so many times one can hear someone spout "So, yeah, I hate Final Fantasy" for no reason before they lose their mind.

My friends and I talk a lot about games, and a good deal more about them than just the games themselves. the game industry itself is fascinating to me, and the culture surounding games and the public attention they get are all great topics of conversation for us. Yeah, I'm a nerd.

With my friend, sometimes we'll talk about games so much that I'll end up having a huge rant that lasts for 10 minutes and then we continue to talk about games for the next hour or so.

I have a couple of friends that are into gaming and gaming press, so I guess whenever I see them. Which isn't everyday, but it's pretty close.

Often enough. as well as anime, and due to some ADD, I can obscurly link any conversation to a video game.

I also find myself applying to game design/idea logic to real life. When I look at a scenery while on the road I have a think for noticing where, in a game, where the playing field ends and the skybox begins.

The real question you should be asking, is how often do I discuss discussing video games? At the escapist, it seems to be all the time.
