Simple question really. Are you kind of person who everytime you go on post on every thread you see? *coughMaxcough*

Or are you more the kind of person who only comments on threads that interest you and you feel like what you say will have some weighing in the discussion like me?

Obviously, my post count is extremely low compared to how long I've been here, and there are some users who have upwards of 5,000 posts from only a few months, this shows how differing this is in this forum.
Definitely the second category, as you can see, I've been here even longer than you and yet with even fewer posts.

I generally lurk until I find something that interests me enough to post.

I usually go on and post if I really am interested in a topic. It really annoys me when there is a poll and people post for the sole purpose of complaining that there is no option for people who have no opinion on a subject.

Roughly 10 times a day on average I would estimate.

Yeah, I've slowed down posting a lot recently. Right now I generally post only in topics that interest me, and even in those it's only a fraction.

Well if you compare my Join date and my posts you'll see that I don't post very often. I'm on here a lot and I read a lot of threads but for some reason I don't post very often.

It makes me feel a little pathetic when I see that Max hasn't even been on here for a year and has around 16000 posts. Where as I've been on here for just over a year and still haven't hit 1000.

Watch out guys, get out of his way, get to bunkers, hide the children, here it comes, this is his first muttafukkin' post.
Yes. Fear me. For I will be the prophecied one with the 1:1 posts - days since joined ratio.

I've actually been around for about two years, I came for the Yahtzee and stayed for... Well, the Yahtzee. And Unskippable. I've been reading the forum posts for at least a year, always clicking open the threads that caught my eye in the side panel of the videos. It wasn't until I had to create an account to be able to reap the fruits of the Zero Punctuation Stonking Great Game Competition that I stepped out of the shadows and joined the throngs. So, here I am.

Fear me. Then just forget me. I usually tend to post only when I have something relevant to say so you guys probably won't be seeing me around *too* much.

I comment on this that relate to me in some way OR things like pique my interest.

In this case I wanted to see how long it'd take for Max to get here and say "Do I REALLY have to answer that?"
Ditto on almost exactly the same points, but I don't come on hugeley often, because I have had to do loads of marking on my students tests over the past month or so.
Friggin mind, thinking it would be good to give the different classes testsa week apart "So I could have time to mark them".
I am an idiot

I will only read a thread that captures me first in the title and then in the first couple of lines and will only post when I feel my input hasn't been added a thousand times already and amounts to more than just a line (list threads not included).

It baffles me how some people have managed to accumulate thousands of posts in short periods of time. I wonder if sometimes the badges inspire people to post just for the sake of posting rather than adding anything to a topic.

I post quite a lot now, but extremely rarely in the gaming discussion board. I'm usually found frequenting the off-topic and religion boards, advocating neutrality unless in extreme cases. I've never been accused of trolling either (so far as I'm aware) despite hanging out in often firey threads...

I make a point of trying not to just shit out opinions, I like to back them up. Unlike some people I'm also willing to stay and properly debate with people too. The fact that my post to quote ratio is around 60% I'd say I'm obviously saying things worth reading, the majority of the time.

Well, I've been here long enough, but time rarely allows me to get on the Escapist sadly, hence my low post count....

The more bored I am, the more inclined I am to post in a topic I don't really care about.

Since it's holidays now, I've started posting a lot more.

Whenever I have some free time I come on here and post on topics I have something to contribute to. That's actually not that much since I have a job and go to school, but thankfully a lot of topics here tend to catch my interest, so I'm never bored by this forum.

I like to think I post pretty sporadically now and then, on the topics which most interest me.

But then again I also like to post topics which will anger people and bring their bile to the fore (incredibly easy on the internet)
You may call me a troll, I call myself an entertainer.
