Well that was an interesting analogy. I guess that's pretty cool.

Although I'm scared by some of the zombies that were mentioned in the article. Digger zombies? Balloon supended zombies? I'm very worried about them now. Must go play PvZ to protect my house...

A... different story than I would have expected to see today.

It's such a shame the PC version is now a broken game with no love for it's players.

I see now, they are wanting to make solar powered defences :)
And in this analogy who or what would crazy dave be?

To be honest I think that this is a good analogy and I like it, glad to see a positive post about games and not one about a killer who once tripped over a gamecube and them trying to say thats what made him a killer. (I made that one up but it's probably out there somewhere :D )

Yeah, Doten. Because bombs and advanced weapons are "cool".

On a lighter note, let's see the detractors say games are worthless after hearing about this!
A lot of people think they are, yes.

Said people scare me.
I must say I find advanced weapons and bombs to be "Cool". :p I also find them to be fascinating, starting from the prototype phase all the way to a working model.

The mechanics and designs my be fascinating, and they may be cool within, say, films and games, but this guy kind of referred to real life weapons which will undoubtedly be used to slaughter people. Not to be a hippie or anything, but that's not exactly "cool".
I'm well aware of that. Weapons are designed for many purposes such as self defense, be it someones personal home or for law enforcement. It's also used to arm the men and women of the US military, and in fact every military around the globe. While it's true that under certain circumstances that they will be used with lethal force, they are created for a purpose because there is a need for such things.

Some nations abuse the power they wield with such weaponry while others seek to deter a confrontation by simply having "The biggest stick around". If you look at it purely from the aspect that they kill, then you're right there isn't anything cool about weapons. If you instead look at weaponry as a whole, through the history of man kind. The way it's changed shape countless times, evolved time and time again to meet the needs of the era that exists. It's fascinating and yes, "cool" as you would say to marvel at where it's come from.

x3 It only sounded a bit hippie-ish, hehe. So you don't have to worry much. :)
