I live in a pretty small town where we mostly have elderly people, families and a few alcoholics, so I don't have the slightest thing to worry about.

Drunk people can't run, I've tried.

It's petty theft around here, mostly. I'm talking bikes, etc. But, overall, it's pretty safe.

Nothing happens where I live in Scotland but when I lived in Brazil a guy was shot by the police after robbing a post office. His accomplice then stole my neighbours car and drove out of town. I was asleep the whole time.

My street can leave doors unlocked at night...although the fact that every house on the street has an average of three rifles might have something to do with it.

I live in a rich suburb nothing happens, its safe the closet you get to crime is people cutting through others people's yards as shortcuts which is technically trespassing but thats it.

I live in a small village on Dartmoor so pretty safe most of the time. Was a bit dodgy with ice recently though.

Very safe.
The last time a crime was committed at someone's house, the car was broken into and the radio was stolen.
That was two years ago.

Quite safe. A few drunk, angry white boys once in a while, but there's very little 'real' crime. However, we have had a car break-in through the years.

The only harm that could come to you on my street involves ice, so I'd say it's another case of "Safe, cozy little suburb".

I'm also a few minutes brisk walk from both an elementary and a middle school, so lots of kids younger than me.

We have some of the safest streets ever. It's both a blessing and a curse. It's hard getting used to the fact that taking a walk through alleys and such in the middle of the night isn't such a good idea when you visit other places.

It's safe. There are no burglary's,murders or even fights.

As you can see.The road it self is not all that wide. And past the edge is a fall down.So when there is ice on the road it get kinda dangerous. But most people are good enough drivers to not hurt themselves. There is only one incident of a person driving off the road.
Dude were do you live? That place looks great, is that the side of a mountain!
I live in the small fishing town of Suðureyri in Iceland. And yes that is a mountain. And there is another mountain in my back garden.

We've had a shooting occur a year back and there's a few stupid kids that occasionally break into people's homes to steal stuff.

otherwise it's pretty tame out here.

*Looks at old-lady-house on the left*
*Looks at old-couple-house on the right*
*Looks at forest on opposite side of the road*
*Looks at forest behind the house*
*Looks up & down street to see a railroad track and family-orientated random buildings*

I'd say pretty damn safe.
