One of my good friends has revealed to me (a while back) that he likes a certain woman. I have recently started hanging out with them (in a group, she doesn't know he likes her) and I have the weird feeling that I like his crush.
This worries me because I don't want to ruin my friendship and I just don't know how to react.
Advice, escapists?
EDIT: Another problem is that he just backs away when she is around (shyness) and I am allways the more social one so (not to sound uppity, though this sidenote just made me) I think that she actually fancies me.

But try not to flirt with her very blatantly in the open or anything like that. Your friend might get pissed. However, if you finally one day realize that you and this girl both love each other, go for it. If your friend is a good friend, he'll understand and let it be that way.

I say if you wnat to be together with this woman regarless of your friends feelings, you should... I don't know... maybe ask her stuff? stuff that a friend would ask, so your friend doesn't smell a rat.
Or, you could talk to your friend about this. If he (I'm assuming it's a he) really is your friend you should be able to discuss it without falling out. But this is only if you really want the girl. If you don't, I say suffer in silence. And look for someone your friends don't know/like.
