I am a mountain of a man coming in at around 5'3".
Above me is the man who is the same height...or woman. I didn't check. But I'm 5'3 as well...
But with our powers combined we become........UNSTOPPABLE!!!
With our powers combined we become 10'6! We can be the giants of the world!

From the Flying Spaghetti Monster Gospel-paraphrased, "As we know, people from olden times were shorter. This was because his sauciness had enough noodly appendages to go around and hold everyone down, thus gravity and the height. but as the population went higher, his sauciness could no longer reach everyone as well. So only His most loved ones are pushed down while the taller ones and the ones that are loved less, are unlucky and pushed aside."

190cm without shoesies.

There must be something in the water here. I'm 15, and neither one of my parents are tall.

170 cm about. I know that's average, but sometimes I feel short. Proberbly because my significant other is practically a giant at around 193. All without shoes or anything.

wich countries use the foot-inch measure, actually? I never understand sizes unless they are in meter or centimeter :p

only UK use foot-inch right?
No, US uses foot-inch, UK uses metric

OT: I'm 5'8"-5'9", somewhere between there (173-175cm)
Not for height we generally don't. Although you can be forgiven for thinking that, given that we vacillate between the two systems so much, using miles for distance, feet and inches for height but buying food by the gram and... and... I guess we use the metric system for drinks that aren't beer too.

190 cm here. Not abnormal in the Netherlands, about average in my age group.
No, not abnormal in NL because you are officially the tallest people in the world. I'm serious. I'm 6'0" on the button and yours is the only country I visit regularly where I ever feel short. I blame my mum's side of the family with their damn dirty French-Huguenot genes as my dad is of Anglo-Dutch extraction and is almost 2 inches taller than I am.
