How the hell did I miss that?

I'm pissed out myself right now because I just got out of the shower only to realize that there were no towels so I had to dry myself off with a rag. Worse was that I had to do this yesterday to and remember being told that there were no towels because the cat pissed on them. Even worse was before I took my shower I was staring directly at he towel rack when I was doing my morning business on the toilet(my coffee had just hit) which is no less the 2 1/2 feet away from the towel rack directly facing it.

So escapist, ever had one of those moments where you can't fathom on how you missed something so directly in front of you?

Oh I constantly forget to take a towel to the bathroom.
I remember being on the phone to my friend once and I thought I'd heard my phone go off, so I was searching frantically for it for half an hour (still on the phone to my friend) when it dawned on me that my phone was in my hand and I was using it.

Yeah, i have a fire extuinguisher located in a stairwell i walk in every day.. And when i was asked where it was, i had no idea whatsoever.

Its been hanging there for two years aswell..
I also used 3 months before i actually managed to get some boots out of my car that i swore to every day to take with me next time i used the car.

There is a saying in Norway: "hadde det ikke vært for at rompa hang fast, så hadde du glemt den også"

Meaning: " If your ass was not stuck to you, you would forget that also"

MW2, the Intel just outside the school, you literally have to walk past it and i got all except that and thats what i looked up the walkthru for... damnit....

Heh, my best one has to be when I was taking a Spanish test.

I couldn't remember the word for "Who" So I guessed and just handed it in. When I was on my way back to my seat, I saw this superman poster right behind my seat with all the question words on it.
