The Sopranos.

I saw the last season when it was on TV (mainly cos my brother and dad were watching it and I suppose I had nothing better to do). I didn't really like it all that much. One of my friends roommates has the first 2 seaons on DVD and since starting college this year we started watching them and I must say, they are as good as everyone said. Ive only watched the first season so far, but I can't wait to watch the rest.

The Inbetweeners. I figured it would suck and just be another pop clut thign ever one seems to like (like x-factor). I was awesomely suprised.
Same. I wasn't a fan when it first aired, but now I absolutely love it.

Well...(readies flame shield)...I like Taylor Swift's music. I really don't much care about song lyrics so I don't know if she's preaching some big message, I much prefer hearing the melodies, and she has a nice voice. So from a purely sense-of-sound viewpoint, she is pleasing to me.

Well me personally, I hated Greek Mythology with a freaking passion all my life up until last year, when I been hearing talks of God of War 3. I hated the God of War series eventhough I never even played it, but it didn't appeal to me....That was until I bough the Collection for the PS3 and after beating 1 & 2 I fell in LOVE WITH THE SERIES

Then God of War 3 came out and My mind Was not only blown, but stabbed, gashed, pounded and Obliterated at how awesome God of War 3 was and I felt bad for almost missing out XD
Same here but for a different reason.

When the first game was being hyped and marketed, I didn't have internet yet. And all that I would ever see from it on tv gaming shows were the QTE's (though they weren't called QTE's yet back then). So I figured that's all the game was; a violent version of Parappa The Rapper.

That was ofcourse untill I played the awesome demo.

Though, I've always loved Greek mythology.

Strike Witches.
I got the impression that it wasn't very well-liked when I first heard about it. Of course, checked it out and it was FAR better [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BetterThanItSounds] than I thought it would be.

Hmm... I don't really have prejudices...

But I think I may have had an unexpected awesome not long ago.

I watched Planet Terror... Hilarious, things spontaneously combusting, zombies, a woman with a gun for a leg... What's not to like?

Veronica Mars always looked like a rather dull, high school series with some wannabe detective. Little did I know that was actually pretty damn gritty, tough and well-written, damn I love that show.

Same thing also happened with Katamari, and, well, there's this:

There's too many doctor's for Doctor Who. Just keep an actor already! I started watching it here and there and then all the sudden it was some other guy. WTF? I quit watching, then the guy became some other guy and I watched it again. Now he's someone else!! DAMNIT QUIT

OT: I really enjoy listening to The Tea Party. I started listening and I liked every song, and I was thinking "Awesome!" Sadly, the band broke up.

The Final Fantasy series. when I first heard of it I dismissed it as something I thought I wouldn't be interested in. the first game I tried was the Revenant wings and that didn't help as the RTS put me off. once I tried bthe 3 and 4 remakes on the DS I found them incre3dibly good.

Spice and Wolf was something I never thought I'd like from some reviews I read, which said the show was pretty much Furry fanservice. I didn't expect a well written drama about medieval mercantile economics.

I've never actually watched the show very much. Probably two or three episodes at the most and none have really stuck with me.

My guess is I'm going to have to marathon it if I'm going to enjoy it. That is just how I enjoy TV shows now. I have to watch nothing but a show if I'm to get into the groove.

FF7: DoC (PS2) - I wrote it off as just another crappy tie-in to SE's milking of the overrated mediocre FF7 universe.
Finally played it, enjoyed it, and hoped that the people working on that game would make something else...
