Does anyone here have any idea how to make a good full face mask? I need to make one that is hopefully uniform and smooth (so probably minus the nose). I've looked into paper mache, but it seems too rough for what I need. I plan on having it for an AnimeCon. Thanks in advance!

You could find a wooden mask laying in a chest in the bottom of the river! Just remember to get your antique yellow suit and pimp hat ready!

Things gonna get CRAZY!

/apologies

XD, well sadly there are no big bodies of water that are easily accessable for me to grab one from, so I'll just have to make one.

Again, I am sorry, I read "Mask" and it was the first thing that popped into my head.

On topic then... have you access to metalwork?

Unfortunately not. I know nothing of metalwork and I'm not skilled enough in woodworking. If I could buy a simple plain, featureless white mask that would be fine, but everything I find has eyeholes, noes, cheeks, ect, which is not what I'm looking for. It would end up being vaguely similar to Hei's mask from Darker than Black for those of you who know of the show.

Paper mache would work if you had fine grained sand paper. You wouldn't be able to make it too thin and it would be fragile, paper mache always is.

Hey, here's a how-to for the particular mask you referenced. http://www.cosplay.com/archive/index.php/t-124070.html
