The most important part is making sure your targets are going to understand the alternate meanings behind the words you use. Today at work this girl i work with was complaining that she was getting serious static shocks off some trolleys she was cling wrapping... I could honestly hear the spark from 10 feet away. So i Told her she "should stop coming into work so charged." the timing was good, but the whole thing would have been worthless in places where "charged" isnt commonly used slang for being drunk. Hope that helped some.

Many people will argue that there's not such thing as a good pun. I don't care about that as I continue to make them all the time.
