I only hope Chris was planning to hide in some tall grass wearing that monstrosity, as I can't think of any other good reason.

I'd even go as far to say that a brown shirt and jackboots would be a more acceptable and less controversial outfit than that hideous Safari suit.

That safari outfit is the laziest new costume ever. It's about as difficult as giving Ryu a BLACK karate outfit instead of a WHITE one. At least Sheva's outfit, travesty that it is, shows some initiative.
