How to watch "Game of Thrones" in the Netherlands

The series looks really awesome but I can't seem to find a way of watching it here in Holland, that is, one that doesn't involve piracy. So I was wondering if any other Dutch folk know how to get my hands on the series here, is there a steam equivalent for TV series or something?

If you want to watch it legally your best option is to buy the DVD-set when it comes out March 5th. There is a small chance one of the networks will pick it up when season 2 starts, since Carice van Houten is going to be in that.

On the slightly less legal side of things, the series is quite easily to find on torrent sites and downloading is completely legal in the Netherlands.

Yep.. It's the same in pretty much all countries that are not in North America.

Here in Sweden we need to wait 3-12 months until we get "new" seasons so sometimes when I see the the first episode they have already canceled the show since not a lot of people was watching it.
And I cannot even import stuff from US since all US companies refuses to export to Sweden :/

So if you feel guilty about torrenting something I would suggest that you send them a mail with money that is equal to what they would gain from selling a season dvd pack.

Except for.. you know... Pirate bay being shut down and major debates raging about it atm You can't even access the site right now....

You can always order the seasons from ebay or amazon, right? If you want to watch without paying money, then I'm afraid torrents are your only option.

TPB is only blocked by Ziggo and XS4all (and even then not very well or willingly) and there are other Torrent sites, buying it on Ebay or Amazon isn't possible because the DVD-set doesn't exist yet.
