I was in a Gamestop in a shoppimg mall. I work in the Gamestop across in the mall across town. And there was this 10 year old boy who baught this pokemon game. As soon as he was out of the door both of the clerks started making fun of his asian accent right in front of me. (not knowing i work for the other store) I was shoked to see how unprofesional these guys were. Have you ever seen anything like this?

Some 11 year old kid came in to a Gamestop while I was looking for PSP games, and he tried to buy Halo 3 and after the kid left they started calling him a little dipshit. It was really unprofessional.

I used to work at paintballing and I shot one of the customers at point blank range for insubordination.

I don't think that's unprofessional so much as it is funny.

Not as dangerous as what he was doing to warrant being shot. Amongst other things he threw a rock at a pregnant girl because he was out of ammo and then he refused to go to the sin bin.

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure in what way my shooting him was 'dangerous'. He was wearing protective gear and he was at paintball where you expect to get shot anyway.

Were you promptly sacked, or were you a fellow customer?
As I said, I worked there. And as I explained above, he was throwing rocks at people and refusing to follow marshall's instructions so he really had it coming.

Nah, that's over reacting a little.
It depends entirely on the circumstances, if they were on field then it wasn't dangerous. In the safe area absolutely.

Anywase:
Never at a shop I've worked in, I've always kept that kind of behaviour for the staff room or out of hours when there'll be no-one to see us bad mouthing them.

My former maths teacher used to have a nasty vendetta with a friend of mine (plus a few other students), for no apparent reason. He wasn't top of the class, but not bottom either. The teachers favourite habit was to report them unfairly, eg. sending an email to the head about a poor piece of homework or something. The reports he wrote and the tests he marked were also extremely biased.

Yet he was superseded by the headteacher himself... and the most succinct way to describe him is to point out that, after a recent school inspection... he's decided to retire early.

Another case of unprofessionalism, two co-workers were talking in the store about the section personnel manager in a certain way (She's twenty-six, and has a pretty face... do the math). Problem with this, any nearby customers could also hear.

I was surprised by my co-workers when I worked at a musical instrument shop, they don't exactly respect their customers and they didn't exactly respect me.

I don't really expect a high level of "professionalism" from non-professional, minimum-wage employees. :\

i went into this shop once, nd the girl behind the counter was talking to one of her friends who worked there instead of serving people
i stood there for 10 mins ~_~
she eventually finished her conversation, turned to me and said "yeah?"

That's because they work for Gamestop. I'm sorry, but almost every Gamestop I've ever been in has arrogant jerks for employees. It's as though they feel you are unworthy to buy from them.

whenever that happens to me, which is often i throw my merchandise to the ground, call the girl/girl a **** or a fag and leave, knocking over all the merchandise i can on the way out. i know its childish but i can't stand being treated like that

I use to work at a mall with an EB Games which is now Gamestop but to get on with the story, I just closed the store I worked at for the night and headed to my car which was in the middle of the nearly empty parking lot. My car has a remote starter and I hit it a good 100 yards away. I figure I took a good five minutes at leisurely pace to get to my car when I noticed someone sitting oddly inn the passenger side of the car directly behind mine. I am a gamer so I recognized the guy as the manager to the malls Gamestop and he had the oddest expression on his face as a waved hello to him before getting in my car. That's when I noticed the female driver raise her head from below the passenger side dashboard. I have not shopped there since.
