I know you may be already posting "Use the search bar noob" but hear me out.

Has your December been shitty? Did somebody die? Were you sad?

I just had my dog (Roumer you shall be missed), my grandfather(also shall be missed) die. With my other cat to be put down tommarow evening (Sebastian you will be missed shortly). I have also heard alot of stories of people I know having relatives die. I also work at a pet food store and over the winter(Once it snows and I get a snowday in Canada, it's winter) and customers keep comming in changing their food because their pet died.

So I ask you this Escapist, was your December hit by some sort of sadness?

On the contrary, this was one of the best Decembers I've had by far. At last! SUCCESS! I managed to finally group together the guts to ask out this one guy that I've been wanting to date for quite a while... and he said yes, so I'm still rolling in the happy.

And Asturiel, I offer you my condolances. That's a lot of loss to witness in a single rotation of the earth's axis. I hope this January brings you good news.

Bloody freezing, I swear I looked out the window several mornings thinking it snowed, but it turned out to be awful slippery frost.

But I did get to slide an old tyre at my mates to knock them over.

on the 10th i went to see Paramore & on the 14th I saw Placebo.
so that was good.

however, the rest made December little more than average because it was blisteringly cold & christmas was shit.

Nothing says happy christmas like getting mocked & humiliated by your entire family about something. it was salt in the still-very-much-fresh wound.

I spent most of it seeing my girlfriend and not seeing my family. It was excellent.

Flooding, power cuts, freezing temperatures, howling winds, Its Brilliant for irish weather.

Seriously i was able to kayak through my town centre, thats how bad the flooding is in the south, not everyday i can go to the local video store and purchase assassins creed 2 from a kayak, surprised he was still selling things to be honest, god i love commerce.

other than that, eh, i would say it was the most saddest Christmas I've had, not because of the weather, fuck ive grown accustomed to it, reading by candle light in a conservatory at midnight makes me feel articulate, just incredibly bloody lonely, thank god i have family though.

I expect 2010 to be equally as shit, and im being optimistic here.

pretty good, I got the entire series of samurai jack and teen titans, the second season of invader zim, the third and fourth season of Futuarma and the last Futuama movie, also a fairly nice watch, or less nice than my current watch but I really shouldn't be wearing a $100 watch to school.

My december was the worst

Got denied a sweet scholarship for college
My foot got infected and had to go to the ER (Also, my foot felt like my blood was made of knives, and on fire)
My grandfather died
I got kicked out of my house for dumb reasons

I also didn't do well on a math test. But that seems meh in comparison

Tough break on the pets, man. I've lost many.

My December, awful. Just awful. All the family came over and expected me to be glued to a chair for 5 hours every day speaking about boring nonsense. My Granddad came over from America; only to think he runs the place and push my Mum around. I stood up to him a got an earful of it from everyone. So I went for a walk down to my local church (I'm Athiest. My Dad's buried there though) and I decided to go for an even longer walk into Sutton (Hours walk) to see a movie. When I got back, everyone was suddenly worried about me. OH NOES!

It was cold, I did a lot of running, and PT wasn't particularly pleasant.

Otherwise I guess it was ok?
