How was your Double XP Weekend?

Ok so a fair few games just had a double xp weekend to celebrate America's independence day, Gears2, Cod WaW and, as every weekend, Halo 3. So what game were you playing and did you get what you wanted out of it? Personally I spent all sunday and monday (in Australia so it continued here) on Gears 2. Started the weekend on level 51 and just have gotten of quite content with my new level 57 (in only 33 games to I might add). A friend of mine jumped from 91 to 95.

I had an excellent double xp weekend. I played almost a full day and a half of CoD WaW and prestiged and grew to level 46. I was proud of myself.

Arggg, I wish I had played, maybe I could have gotten fifth prestige.

Just like every single other Double XP Weekend. I levelled up twice as fast. Is there much of a topic here?

I didn't know that it was XP weekend.

Wouldn't have mattered though, I'd probably have done the same thing anyway.

I know that the Halo 3 Double EXP weekend was boring.
I try to avoid games in which the point of the game is not to play the game, but to earn EXP.

Since the only one of those I play regularly is Halo online, and since I only play in the Action Sack (with no xp) section, I didn't care. I just play fun misceleanous games with my friends, instead of constantly worrying about my level compared to other people.
