How was your evening?

Went to a party, sat around being bored for a few hours and went home, nothing special...

Is it worse to be bored, and I presume lonely at a party, or to be bored/lonely at home. I'm not trying to imply anything, I just want to know your thoughts on this.

Much worse to be bored and lonely at a party... it just makes me feel out of place and even more secluded then if I were to go out of my way to avoid them by staying home or doing activities on my own... besides at least I get to listen to good music at home... not crappy party songs...<.<

ah party songs... I think they try to please everyone, and end up not really pleasing anyone. I'm always suspicious that people who are enjoying themselves in a club/party are having fun despite the music, not because of it and that they don't even realize it.

oh and a boring party puts me in a worse mood than being alone on a Saturday night, but not by much. :/

Yeah even something vaguely resembling music like hardcore techno or white noise industrial is preferable to party music...

Typically why I try to avoid parties is because I'll just sit in a corner looking bored and watch everyone else have fun...

Irritated. Got Round Table for me and my brothers and that pizza was overpriced and I got charged almost $5 in an automatic gratuity(first time I've ever heard of that). The place was dirty and very unprofessional. Bums me out a little. I used to go there a lot with my dad when my bothers and I were little and its changed and not for the better. Seems like a nothing thing, but it was actually the first time I felt the need to complain at a restaurant.

lol I remember one time I went to the Round Table lunch buffet with my friend Robert, we had an eating contest the entire time and after like 30 minutes and about 30 slices each the manager kicked us out...<.<

yeah I haven't seen that guy since highschool, last I heard he got a nipple disease and had to have them operated on...

Went to the library, studied for finals. Ran into one of my friends. Went to another friend's house to watch the Pacquiao/Mosley fight. Had some spicy wings, took a shot, drank a few beers. Fell asleep twice during the fight, though the Arce/Vasquez fight that preceded it was pretty damn good. Got a pillow in the face because I fell asleep, LOL'd, went home. Now I'm winding down the evening by perusing a few websites.

Spent 11 hours in a car, watched Game of Thrones episode 1 and 2, then finally went to bed.

I got some homework done and had a great meal at Chiles with my friends.

Read a book. Got drunk. Spent an hour trying to sleep again. Drank more when that didn't work.

Then I guess I stopped paying attention. I'm actually not sure how or when I started being, you know, on here.
If there is one thing that can fix this, it is more scotch. I am almost positive of that. Yes.

I did a lot of yard work, ate some Cookout, watched Thor, played Portal 2 and some Gears beta, trolled some, got trolled, and realized the Escapist has some stupid people on it that make me lol then realized I would still rather be here than some various other places. So overall a pretty boring normal day.

So Escapists what did you do over your fine Saturdays.

Just got back from prom, and it was awesome. Girlfriend made out with me, the DJ was good, and some dude asked me to fuck in the bathroom(I refused, of course).

As I type my sinuses are hurting probably from both blowing my nose a lot and an infection of some sort. If it doesn't go away by the end of tomorrow I'm seeing a doctor. Also, my back hurts from dancing so awesomely.

Cooked some pizza, went outside, saw Thor (not bad, not great either), played some Melee and got drunk off whiskey with a couple of friends.

Everyone's either away or studying for exams .

Had a fun time, went to this thing called 'afterprom' Bunch of inflatables and games at the high school, rubbed my knees raw on the obstacle course, but it was worth it

I watched Manny Pacquiao dominate Shane Mosley for twelve rounds. I then drank with my roommates and did jello shots. It ended on a quiet note, but I suppose it was a decent evening.

Went and viewed Sucker Punch. Two hours I will never regret. Story was average, but some fight scenes I have been waiting to see for way to many years. Went to a mates place and played Portal 2 for a bit, came back home and played some rugby with some mates, now in bed with gf reading a book (And posting here) while she watches Greys Anatomy (Why ids that show popular!?). Good afternoon/evening.

I went to prom with some friends, had a nice dinner, played Xbox, danced, then went to see a movie. So overall, not a bad day.

I found out that my mom might leave my dad, watched an american werewolf in london(terrible movie), and cant fall asleep.

I spent the evening with a girl I met recently. She just moved to town so I was invited over to see her new place. We had fun, talked a lot and just enjoyed each others company.
Went home at around 2200 and went to sleep at 2300. Was hellish tired after only having slept 6 hours the night before.

Joining the "Saw Thor" crowd here, and damn I loved it. Sadly the reveal at the end of the credits was a bit too obscure for me. Googling afterwards reveals it will be preeeetty damn important.

After that I played some TF2, finally played half-decent again as a Scout.

Got back from town with an excellent book about how complexity pervades biology, cooked some fish, rang a friend, had a beer, played Mirror's Edge and then went to sleep. It was pretty nice.
