Jeeez, this happens to me a lot. I was playing way too much Persona 4, and in the game there's a mechanic that features the weather; on foggy days sometimes someone would be found killed, and all the dungeons are foggy and have Shadows in them. So one morning it was foggy, and I nearly crapped my pants expecting a Shadow or a dead body, rofl

You know when you've been playing too much WoW when you ask your friends to be in your party so you know where you all are.

Also, as someone mentioned looking around in the dark and wondering where the flashlight button is.

Almost punched my friends mother in the face once after playing Resident Evil and she jumped out in front of me to scare me.

Screamed like a woman, although admittedly I was, like, ten.

When playing Left 4 Dead downstairs I tend not to like going back upstairs, or when I'm playing it round my boyfriends house and he goes outside for a fag... I refuse to go outside incase of a Hunter or something.

Also thinking about moving onto a second army, the Daemon army.
My ork army is too big to list/remember: I've been playing since the original Rogue Trader rule book days.
I have a Lost and the Damned army but my friends and I decided to stick with the 4th edition and keep the Chaos Marines and Demons together. In fact, I don't think any of us picked up the 5th edition rule book and my Chaos centric friend didn't pick up the new chaos codexes either. We still paint and get together to play but we stopped buying the books and stuff after the new ork codex; I stopped with that, my friends stopped earlier.

When GTA4 first came out, I played it for one week straight without going outside. Needless to say, it felt a bit weird going downtown after that. I also walked a bit like Niko for two days, apparently.

Last weekend I mentioned the First Contact War as one of the most important wars in history without even noticing. My friends couldn't figure out what the hell I was talking about.

I did the same thing of course I then went right back to playing mass effect but recently I have been seeing geth in my daydreams and have taken a break from it for a while.

Usually eyestrain or blisters let me know I need to stop. ;) Also, when you see afterimages when you try to go to sleep of game pieces, it's time to give it a break.
Would still hearing hellmarch while thinking about how to crush the Allies in RA1 count (while lying in bed trying to sleep)? lol
Yer I played CnC alot when I was young, too much even lol

I know I've been playing too much L4D because all I can think about is preparing for the onslaught of rl zombie apocalypse.

I haven't got L4D, but I was watching a bunch of youtube vids about it.

Later that night, I went downstairs and watched "Mock the Week".

Someone said a humourous joke, and the crowd exploded into laughter. Above the hubbub of normal-level laughter, two people laughed the EXACT two notes the horn plays before a horde-charge.

I freaked and hid in the corner of the sofa.

Oh, Hi everyone, I finally decided to join after a year of lurking

Sorry to hear that. Everybody now playes with the new Codex and rules. I like the new Daemon army because it fits my play style along with the Necrons and it allows me to play Warhammer Fantasy as well, something with which I was thinking of going into.
The Demon army is cool but I just hated the fact that Chaos Marines can only field generic demons. As someone who mostly fought Chaos, I appreciate the old codex more: more surprises, more of a challenge/formidable foes, more customization, more options. The new codex forced my friend to put together less challenging and more by-the-numbers armies that I constantly decimated with my orks; and as an orky player, that's no fun.

But don't feel sorry for us, the above-mentioned chaos player has an awesome gaming table in his attic with great terrain we made ourselves so we always play at his place anyway.

If I play Tetris even for a little while I dream about it all night. Even my stupid brain doesn't give me the long ones.

I find that if I've been on my computer too long I try to use ctrl z all time. Espcially when taking notes and I write the wrong word.

I used to be pretty bad with the save thing too. Try and quick save before I did anything important or if a certain amount of time had passed. But that was back in the days of old games where you always had like 50 saves anyway. And now most games I play have pretty frequent auto-saves so I don't worry about it too much.

When I used to play TF2 pretty frequently I had this one day after playing for ages as a sniper I felt uneasy after standing still too long or looking in the same place for a while.

Well done! You are lucky winner of a brand new cookie (You'll have to provide your own cookie here. I... err... sort of ate the other one).
