When i was a kid i played alot whit legos. I used to make warmashines and sweet weapons for my lego-soldiers and then me and my brother usually proceeded to fuck each others shit up legostyle. ( Using our hands as overpowered rockets and shizzle, after that we usually yelled for mom when we had destroyed eachothers armies)

But for now, i still build things in Minecraft!

On topic, I was more of a Lego guy than anything else. Though I was slightly fond of K'nex...

Me and my friends would get together and build forts out of lego with gunships tanks and battleships (we used our imagination for the water). Then we would use the little lego men to wage an all out war.

Ya know, I never really got to play with K'nex. All I had were Legos, Duplo, and Playmobil.

Too bad though, I've seen some of the crazy stuff people have made with K'nex.

I loved [and still love] LEGO. Personally, vehicles always held a greater appeal for me than buildings. I've always loved things that look aerodynamic, and there happened to be a lot of spoilers and the like lying around. That said, I used to build some islands worthy of JJ Abrams. Hidden bunkers, radar arrays; all of that stuff.

Why do you say JJ Abrams?

I've seen some of his stuff, but remember no hidden bunkers, unless you're referring to Fringe, and in that case I can see your point.

My little brother was a fucking Da Vinci with legos, god he loved them. He use to build cities and forts, my favorite was when he built massive robots to fight his equally massive Beast War Tranformers and had wars.

I used to do that too, but sadly I rearranged my room so that the bed is dominating the entire area, and there's little open space to set up huge battles : (

Man, I used my bed. I used my desk. Hell, I had guys hanging from my lights and standing on my fan blades. It was always a huge production. Some of my favorite memories as a kid.

I always liked to build Space-restaurants with Lego. How is it a Space-restaurant you ask? I built Spaceships and Chewbacca hung out there.

I also liked to build massive Castles out of Playmobil and it always would be ridiculously big, seriously I had too much Playmobil as a kid.

Now I want to play with some Lego now ;(

Me and my friends would wage wars. You started with 3 pre made vehicles, with 5 men, and 10 weapons. Each vehicle had to be manned, and if it wasn't they could be hijacked. You built a fort,and along with "resource creators" and houses for your citizens. You gained a new citizen each turn, and they work your resource creators to get more blocks.

Each vehicle also had movement limits. It was all very complicated....we were odd kids.

Whether it's with Legos, Playmobil, Mega Blox, K'nex, or whatever you use, building toys are fun.
Sometimes you'll just build a little spaceship, but sometimes you'll craft an entire city.

Share your memories with your favorite building toys, and the massive erections you built with them.

For me, it'd be the awesome restaurant/ hotel/ resistance base/ police station/ whatever else it was that I built in about the third grade. It had a cool elevated road system next to it, and I used that to reenact the opening level of Sonic Adventure 2 with minifigs.

With Playmobil, my sister and I made massive castles, with dungeons and towers and such.
We'd have huge wars between multiple factions, but I was too young to understand the deep racial tension that was going on.

I once made it to like a metre tall while playing jenga! Does that count?
