Right, my first new thread...

OK, the gist of this is, whats the best odd design decision people have encountered. Not necessarily bad just strange.

For me, I have a couple, such as Orks in Dawn of War 2... THEY'RE THE COLOUR OF LIMES IN IT!!!! They should be darker than lime colour, especially the Nobz (god i love GW's juvenile sense of humour )

I think it was pretty odd to make Tier 9 look so awful in WoW. I mean, have you seen it?

Yea, its an epic example of, lets just use the same design as all the other cloth sets, and regarding the DoW 1 quote, that line is from the Flash Gitz, yes I have no life... and I'm proud of it

Duke Nukem 3D allows you to give the pole dancers some money. As you give the money, Duke says "Shake it, baby", to which (over the space of about 2 seconds) she unclips her bra, shakes "them" in your direction, puts her bra back on, and keeps pole dancing.

Still... I was about 6 at the time. So I didn't realise how "strange" it was to add something like that into the game.
I was more interested in shooting the pigs than the pole dancers.

OK, that Stalin Vs Martians thing is epic, but i would say its not a design decision so much as someone with a wild sense of fun and enough time to make a game which, on the face of it at least, makes absolutely no sense... and wtf is up with that trailer?
