Okay, in case you missed the news post a few days ago, here's a link http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.243257-Go-to-College-Fight-Zombies-With-Nerf-Weapons#8833057
Now, the game I'm currently in isn't nearly as epic (small campus = small game), but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its moments. For instance, there was a mission today that, well, I'll just post today's entry on the game's blog.
Anyway, to cut off the self-congratulatory speech, and to introduce some discussion value, if you've ever played HvZ, or similar game (such as Assassins), share your war stories.

That fiasco at the stairs? That was me. I was the zombie. For the record, that ambush should not have worked. That being said, it was pretty much awesome.Day 4,
It started Tuesday with one. He caught a few of us off guard taking five of us by the end of the day. We learned how to fight them, how to avoid them. But then they would get smarter, it was always us just trying to stay a step ahead. An anti-virus has been found but is very difficult to make. One dose can stop a human from turning once or even reverse a zombie infection! 5 were found yet only one still known to exist.
Dr. Albertson, the known authority on the zombie virus has made a batch of the anti-virus, enough for several of us to protect ourselves if we get attacked. All we had to do to earn it was to escort him from the campgrounds in front of Martin Hall to the safe zone in Decker breezeway. It would be dangerous, but six of us were brave enough to take the challenge.
The mission started at a 1:15pm. It started well, we manged to hold off the threat all the way to the library stairs. But we had got confident, and that would be our undoing. we were ambushed at the stairs and took several hits. I being the only one with an anti-virus already on hand suffered the only two hits and had to take both in order to counter the effects of the virus. In all none of the six earned a sample and lost my extra dose. In all we all are still alive but today? It was a failure.
