PS1 game that was a dungeon crawler where you just have to keep going to deeper levels. There was a town where you could buy stuff out of the dungeon. I remember the equipment had a durability system and could break. Glass weapons were strong but broke easily.
Sounds like the quest mode of an old Square title named Ehrgeiz.
Your are a goddamned genius! That's it! :D

I loved that game.

A fairly creepy reviewer called the Necro Critic did a hilarious review of it here (part 2 for the minigames & quest mode):

http://necrocritic.webs.com/apps/videos/videos/show/5017903-ehrgeiz-part-2-

spoiler alert, I don't think he liked it as much as you did

This game where you played as a tank vs another tank.
It was turn based and could have 2 players.
You pick your tank and pick your weapons.
Then you fire at one another with special ammo, but it's also fun to blow up the ground and dig a tunnel. to the other tank.

I remember playing it in second grade, I forget its name though.

I doubt the game holds up well. I mostly played the Quest mode anyway.

That dude is indeed creepy and his voice is annoying.

I don't remember if I had an Atari, Commodore 64, or Apple II... or switched between them at some point. The games that I remember: Arkanoid, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Stellar 7. We might have had Impossible Mission and a Kermit the Frog dress-up game that involved the moon? Stellar 7 and the Kermit game I remember playing at one house, but that was after we lived in this other house, which is from where I have these memories:

The first game was kind of like Space Harrier, with a two-tone sort of ground that swept by. Maybe it was a jet and there were battleships in the "water", but I also remember there being some kind of tank on a greener landscape.

Then there was a game that was two player. You had a red robot and a blue robot, and you went around this grey place with escalators, shooting other robots. I think you had to find a computer console or something, and the view was sort of tilted, so "up" was more like "up and to the right".
___________

"Also, a Christian game that has you attacking "heretics" with different coloured swords: gold, brown(ish), and I think silver. Now I know that game exists."

Spiritual Warfare for the NES? A Zelda clone that involved throwing fruit at gang members. When you got the sword you could shoot glowing swords around in the general palette of reddish-orange and white.

Scorched Earth!!!!

Also in Tyrian 2000 if you type in "Destruct" on the title screen.

There was a free online game (probably flashed based but i honest can't remember), from years and years ago (about 11) which was like a 2d arcade style fighter with. There were no special, 'supernatural' moves or anything just brawling. There were green vertical health bars. I think you could save and level up your character. One move might have been called tiger claw or something. It was amazingly popular at school.

I remember playing it as a kid in england at school but forgot about it once i left the country. It still bugs the hell out of me that i cant remember it.

It was a racing Game, and you started off by buying a.. Petrol/Gas Station, I think?

Anyway, you found designs for three sperate concept cars in there, and you could choose which one to build. From there you began to race and in the background your Car manufacturing empire would Expand and depending on how well you raced, you would get more staff more cars, ect..

I really really enjoyed the game, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Anyone out there able to help me?

EDIT: This was a fairly Recent Game. It was for the Xbox I think. You started out by naming your Company, the Default was "Concept" you could also do challenges such as racing to see which model of car the Police would use for their Patrol vehicles.

I remember a whole bunch about this game, I just can't bloody find it or remember its name.

Ah yes I remember one. It was an old 1 player/2 player co-op game, where you took control of two ogre like creatures (kind of like Shrek). Gameplay-wise it was like the original arcade of Mario Bros

You had to use your ogre things to jump on enemies. You could also jump under the platforms and kill them. Only it was much more colorful and it had more bits. Also, I remember the "Pow" box was a wooden crate in this game, where you could jump twice on it and it eliminated all enemies on the screen. What else .... Oh, player one's ogre was green, and player two's was sort of blue-ish. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

okay, I guess it is worth a try, and I will see if I can answer anyone else's questions as well.
EDIT: Damn everyone is asking for advice on old games or games which I have never played before.

I have been looking for a comedy sketch, stand up. I am not sure who the comedian is, or what the sketch is called, searches on youtube and the internet turned up no results:

The one thing I remember is the guy is talking about something and doing hand movements, and he mentions it looks like he is "pleasuring a turtle", he then proceeds later in the sketch to put the turtle on imaginary cabinets, and he beats up invisible pandas. It was hilarious when I first watched it, but I haven't been able to find it again.

Well, I've already found mine, but I guess I'll say that one anyway.

All I remember of that game is gibs, a gun that looks somewhat like an owl and gray and red.

Daikatana for PC. The gun I remembered was the first gun you find, which, ironically, I can't remember the name of right now.

I remember this being on the Sega Mega Drive.

It was a 2D platformer where you played this very cartoony person whose neck could stretch upwards very far. It was very weird!

I've got two, but they're not video games:

One of 'em's a song I heard a long time ago and really liked. I only know part of the lyrics, it goes something like "all signs around say move ahead, can someone please explain to me your effervescent (I think that's what they said) knack of speed". Can't find it anywhere. Help?

The other is actually narrowed down a little, from an old cartoon show called Ren and Stimpy. There's an episode where they fall down a (sewer?) hole and Ren freaks out. Then something above them moves and Ren says "Stimpy, listen! Someone out there likes us!". Then the hole closes and it's pitch black, with only their faces showing and really creepy sound effects/music in the background. This goes on for 8-9 minutes, presumably the whole episode. What episode is that?

If anyone can help me out with these two...I'd be eternally grateful. Help meh!
The song is Incubus -A certain shade of green.

No that's not it, sorry :(.

The character kept his neck attached, it just stretched out from his body. He looked like a cross between Zebedee from the Magic Roundabout and Luigi (Mario Bros).

There is this...old game for the PC. I strongly believe it had 'evil' in the title. The protagonist had white hair, and you couldn't customize his appearance. It was an RPG with a 'top-down' look.
As far as I can remember, there was no numbers in the title. Oh and the character woke up at a...temple/altar/Abandoned Stonehenge - kind of place, and he had amnesia.

For the Norwegians one out there. It was a demo on one of those 'special K' CD's.

It's a game that is most likely heavily clouded by nostalgia. (come on, I was like...7 years old, that means it was...11 years ago.)

The main character might have a Z in his name (Zeke, Zack, etc)
he starts with a dagger-like weapon (can't remember if he finds it or if he is given it.)

EDIT:
It's not Blood Omen - Legacy of Kain

I'll update this post when I remember something else..scratch that, that just won't be useful. i'll just see what happens
