Frankly, my faith in Sony's console's reliability is faiding fast. Either that or Sony consoles just don't like me: my PS2 was stolen, my PSP makes funny noises that it shouldn't do, and my first PS3 died after 3 years. Somehow I'm starting to think that me and Playstation just don't get along (considering the fact that my problems with Sony products are mostly a unique case - most other people don't get it). Now, its my second PS3's turn (a Slim, at that), and I'm hoping it isn't a serious problem.

Basically, I can't get on the Playstation Store. Although I can log into my account, everytime I try to enter the Store it comes up with the simple message "service unavailable in your region/country"... Now, heres the thing - I live in the U.K., one Sony's BIGGEST markets on the planet. If there was anywhere in this country which can connect to the internet and not have Playstation Store available, I'd be very suprised indeed. Furthermore I've never had this problem previously, so I know I can get the serivce on a regular basis. This happened before I updated to firmware 3.1, and so I know it isn't the new update (the same problem remained after I updated my PS3). Also, the Uncharted 2 Beta didn't work as well for some reason, saying that the service was temporarily unavailable... I'm pretty sure the two are connected.

I intend to call Sony tommorow if the problem isn't solved, but has anyone else been experiencing this? Does anyone have a solution WITHOUT listening to the annoying 'on hold' tune for the Sony Support Centre (I have heard that tune too many times...)? Thanks for any help anyone can give me, and sorry for the wall of text!
