Oh noes, he bashed Killzone 2 and a Killsone 2 fan is here. And surprise, they are touchy about the series being bad-mouthed. I loved when Adam Sessler bashed all the whiney Killzone 2 fans for freaking out over a 5/5 rating.

I don't even own a PS3, I own a Wii, so what the fuck are you smoking?

I asked if that was a serious post, because Indigo_Dingo is a resident representative of the SDF, and has never said a single negative comment about a Sony game. So naturally when he says he lost interest in the single most hyped sony game of all time, I am going to question it's validity.

So please don't ever go jumping to any kind of conclusions when you have no facts whatsoever like that again.

Well excuse me for being used to pain the ass Killzone 2 fans acting like that. And as you said I do not know all the facts and did not know you don't own a PS3 nor have I heard ot this guy until now and I am not crazy for assuming what I did. I only will apologize because my hands are basically tied however I am not doing it kindly as you still are being a jerk. I can see the hypocracy of that but I have been wrong before in similar times and they reacted better than you so I genuinly apologize then. Hate me if you want, won't mean anything to me.

In this case how about we both apologise and call it even? It's probably the only time I've reacted like that, and it happens to be the time when a lot of university assignments are due, so I get little sleep.

And to be honest I haven't really seen anyone talk about Killzone being the end-all be-all title on here besides Mazty and Indigo_Dingo. I had just assumed it was common knowledge by now with everyone, but it obviously isn't.

Have you ever had so much hype about a game that you lost interest in it no matter how great the game is or would have been? This kinda happened to me with infamous and prototype

Honestly I find it hard to think of many games that haven't been tainted in some way by hype, Fallout 3 lived up to pretty much all my expectations, but most other games don't fare so well.
GTA4 was all but ruined for me, it was a damn good game, but it didn't actually do anything new, and contrary to what Rockstar claimed, the story was flat as umm, a very flat thing.

Hype ruins everything, and especially that which is crappy to begin with and uses hype to disguise that. See: Star Wars Episode I.

Hype takes advantage of consumer ignorance.

I was stressed too though, so idiots annoy me more, and Killzone 2 fans tend to fit the idiots slot well.
