Hype!

What are you most hyped about right now? Music, books, movies, games, anything. What are you jumping up and down about this moment? Right now I'm hyped for two things:

1. Splinter Cell: Conviction, the stealth game that many have awaited for so long. I'll be glad to play it.

2. This I'm even more hyped about. The album Threnody by Swedish melo-death band Engel. I would have the album now if those pricks hadn't decided to release it in Japan first.

Nothing really.

Splinter Cell I have on pre-order and am looking forward to, but I don't have the same hype that I did for Bioshock 2 or Gears of War 2 (watching all related videos, going on the official forums etc.) I think it will be great, but it doesn't excite me that much, which is odd considering I really like the series.

Portal 2 and Dead Space 2 I am also looking forward to but they are too far away and too short on details for me to be hyped about.

Mass Effect 3 and Gears of War 3 are yet to be announced (although we all know they are going to be made).

Fallout New Vegas I am also looking forward to, but nothing I have seen has excited me, it just looks like Fallout 3 so far based upon screen-shots.

To the best of my knowledge thats been cracked for Assassins Creed 2 now so you could always buy Splinter Cell and use a crack, I'd imagine it wouldn't take so long this time around. (Not that I condone anything like this or intend to advertise it, just saying)

As for me, I'm not really hyped about anything at the moment, the new anime season has started and I'm watching everything I planned to and there are no new games I'm aware of that seem particularly good.

Hm, well, I am doing a tour around some shops in town tomorrow. Looking for a few things. New pants, a spiked collar and/or bracelet and/or belt, figured I'd check a shop supposedly for metalheads that I haven't seen before. Maybe they'll have some other clothing I'd like, too. Having a hard time finding clothes in this city that fit my style, as it were. Also, trying to track down a copy of KOTOR2, which is proving harder than I initially thought.

Don't know if that's 'hype', but I'm at least looking forward to it.

A metalhead shop? That'd be awesome. Although I decided not to wear spiked collars, everyone seems to be doing it. Although I'm almost the only one wearing band t-shirts at my school.

Other than that, I'm trying not to get too excited about things I don't have, because I have a lot of things. I actually just bought Sly 3, and I'm looking forward to getting around to it, now that I have a BC PS3 (which, by the way, are NERD BAIT on craigslist. Try not to get scammed.)

My biggest hype right now: Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands. (que jumping around in anticipation)

I'm also really excited about the new Vampire Academy book. That series is fifty times better than what Twilight could ever hope to be. It's really kind of sad. I'm a vampire fanatic, but I have to stay quiet about it so I don't end up getting associated with annoying, screaming fangirls. Curse you, Twilight... They need to put out more blood and guts vampire films to balance this romance crap out.

Althought id love to do that but the problem is. If i buy it im giving them money to put more games like with DRM. Yeah im only one dude I aint gonna make a difference even if i boycott ubisoft but its the principle for me

I guess I woudl say I'm most hyped for Dead Rising 2. The sequal to my fav game of all time, and Halo Reach, just becuase its more Halo.

Say what you want about ODST, but I loved it becuase it gave me more halo, end of story.
